Great place to grab a craft beer and often playing great music.

The Whale is our favorite bar for beer and wine! The atmosphere is fun, inviting, and relaxed. It gets super lively sometimes and is very chill at other times. The staff are all sooooo kind and knowledgeable! There are board games, chess, an arcade game, and a pool table. They also have a big tv and feature big sports events. The new outdoor seating is also fab. We love the whale!

GREAT selection of craft beers that you wouldn't be able to get at other tap rooms. Staff is always very helpful. Good place to meet up with friends or knock some emails out while enjoying a tasty beer.

Fantastic beer selection. They have a binder of -20 pages of drinks including non alcoholic and wine. Beers from around the world and US. Today they had craft vendor tables

Bartenders were friendly and helped pick out great drink for me. Pool was free and the table was in good condition. The decor and aesthetic of the bar was appealing. Positive atmosphere. From my understanding they do not serve food here but they do have a menu so you can order from near by restaurants. Street parking was realistically pretty great for a Saturday night as the establishment is at the very tail end of South Main St.

Incredible beer selection, guaranteed to have a lot of fun stuff you've never heard of. Staff is friendly and helpful. Vibes are super cool and chill, great music. Honestly a 10/10 bar

One can order food from the nearby restaurant Goat and it will be delivered right to you at the Whale. While waiting, peruse the binder containing itemized lists and descriptions of the plethora of brews and wines offered at this establishment. Wow! Great bar staff, too!

My favorite bar because Eddie and Aden are the best bartenders. I actually go there to see them. There's a taco guy that cooks outside and if he's there ask for the shrimp tacos. I'm not a seafood guy but I loved them ate 3 or 4 of them.

They don't seem to understand that the downtown smoking ordinance covers outdoor encroachment spaces. Your patio is not a free for all for smokers. It's disgusting and it is illegal.

Great tap room. Very dog friendly inside and out. Cold on a hot day. Great to have a local place like this with a great selection of beers on tap and in cans. Probably street parking near by.

Best beer bar/ taproom in Greenville. They have beer selection you won't find anywhere else with a weekly fridge refresh of new selection. Beer tenders are knowledgeable and friendly.
They also frequently have a Wu Tang playlist going if you're into that. Wu Tang is Forever.

Superb beer bar with great selection on tap and in the cooler. Staff was very friendly and a really nice atmosphere to gather and sample different beers among fellow beer lovers
