Todaro Pizza GVL

I ordered and they delivered orders to people who arrived after me. I wanted to ask and the owner yelled at me in front of everyone and was super rude. I think he had no empathy for the customer who came to visit. It made me feel really bad.

I bought the buffet at 1:20pm 2/9/25. My wife is in the hospital and I just wanted a relaxing moment away from the hospital and cafeteria food. I won't pull on the heart strings but it was related to a Kidney Transplant. I just wanted to drink a beer, eat a few slices and chill sort of thing. It's been a rough road and I chose This spot to get that break.

The guy at the register couldn't even be bothered to look at me while ringing me up. I had to ask my question twice about how much for the buffet And a beer. He answered, I bought, no thank you or any word from him after that. Perhaps in a bad mood, you never know.

I started with two slices and planned to go back for more, of course.
Unfortunately I had to listen to the man, who seemingly had no interest in my business, complaining to someone on the phone. I had to hear about he was "going to shut it down" and how whoever he's talking to is "going to loose thousands of dollars." He couldn't go to the back, he HAD to do it at the counter. Another couple comes in, they're waiting for him to finish, just standing there, listening to him complain on the phone while he's completely ignoring them (from what I could tell.)

I had enough and left, disappointed and frustrated. My favorite food is pizza and this was pretty good. I just couldn't listen to his passive argument on the phone anymore. Quite unprofessional and frustrating to have to listen to. I get Everyone has an off day but this was way off.

From other reviews, I suspect this man was the owner. That makes it even more disappointing but he too is only human. I know I haven't had my best face on every single day of my job but this was still my one and only experience here.

I should give it another try someday. See if things are far different. I suspect they would be but until then, I haven't much to say otherwise.

The buffet is an excellent value for the quality. The staff are all super friendly and accomidating. It’s my go to for team lunches for these budget conscious times.

The pizza was pretty tasty and the service was quick and snappy. It's a buffet so, you pretty much just pay and get what you want. Would eat there again For sure.

Charged me the wrong amount and wouldn’t change it because I already paid. 2 stars cause their pizza isnt the best but it’s good enough

Long waits, super greasey Calzone. Flavor is decent but no finesse. Yes, you CAN put too much cheese on a pizza.

After a little over a week I left a review this was a new pizza place and I thought it would be a great spot with new experience.. I came into the place tonight waiting in the line for very long time .. customers had jumped in front of me when I got in the front I addressed the customers and told them I thought it was rude for them to cut in front of me like that.. when I voiced my opinion they were a white male and two white females who literally were in my face.. very disrespectful to me.. I was the only black male in the line from the customers who cut in front of me and behind... This was the first time meeting I believe the guy who owns the restaurant the first experience I had I thought it was his wife but it was his mother she was very nice to me... I told her that I love this place and it would now be my new favorite pizza spot... The guy who owns the place I've heard nothing but good things about him.. my experience tonight was not so pleasant.. he was very rude to me and the customers who jumped in front of me were also rude to me he said not one word to them.. I asked him if he could tell the guy to get off of my back.. they were very rude and racist to me in this establishment and I was not expecting that.. this place sure fooled me.. the owner do not want us blacks and minorities in their establishment ... The mother totally different... I really was not expecting this tonight very sad and disappointing.. that's why I try to stay away from places like this because when it comes down to it we don't mean anything to these independent/etc.. places of business we are just money going into their establishment I have seen a difference tonight from the time I have visited the difference the treatment catering to caucasians and different treatment catering to brownskin and minorities. The owner by far was very rude to me.. I told him I would just leave he said good........ Will never step foot in that place again.Just horrible!!!!!! This place now reminds me of Tanner Big Orange that used to be located on South pleasantburg drive Greenville South Carolina.. were the owner would serve everyone of all ethnicity but behind closed doors will tell you how he really felt about minorities"... For those who know.. know.. saying racial slurs about people of COLOR".. I do not support this type of activity whatsoever!!!!!! I don't care how good the food is everyone deserves the same treatment and respect...

I always love nights out here! Relaxed and friendly, amazing mozzarella sticks & pizza that make my soul happy on long weekdays. John & Linda are both so wonderful and make you feel like part of the Todaro’s family- somewhat new to the area and I know I’ll be a regular here!
