Trattoria Giorgio was hands-down the BEST meal we had in Greenville. If you're visiting, I could not recommend it more highly !! It is fantastic. You do need to call in advanced and make a reservation because they do book up. The clam special was literal PERFECTION. I have been dreaming about its tomato base sauce since we ate it. I literally wanted to lick the plate *lol*. The ribeye was full-flavor, I have no notes on it whatsoever... The bolognese is something special; made fresh in house and you can tell. Our server was so warm and curated our meal with care. The ambiance is intimate, relaxing, and charming. I would go back in a heartbeat.
A lot of restaurant on Main Street felt touristy and overpriced BUT Trattoria Giorgio is the exception-- a fair value and much better food than the other spots we tried.

We had a great meal and experience here last night. On a recommendation from a friend we ventured into Greenville for what turned out to be the best meal we’ve had since we’ve been here. From the house salad to a wonderful smoked salmon entree to a fantastic tiramisu, it was all perfect. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing and we had a great chat with Giorgio after the meal. A great experience all around and highly recommend if you are anywhere close to Greenville.

Our first time dining at this establishment and it was enjoyable overall.
It's a smaller, sized dining area with about 10 or so parties at the time we were there. There is a counter-bar style area that did have one place setting ready, so my assumption is that it can be used for single diners. The decor was peaceful.
I saw that they do have an outdoor area to the left of the building enclosed by a fence area for al-fresco dining during warmer days.
The food was very good, with the service being attentive.
Our initial waitress was very attentive, but later on, they had other staff bring the food and clear the table.
Due to its smaller size, reservations are advisable.
Upon entering, you find yourself directly in the dining area, and I don't recall if a kiosk was present that tends to be the norm in many restaurants.
Regardless, we were greeted immediately and seated at a table set for our party.
The front is all glass looking out to Main Street. The ceiling is quite high and provides a feeling of a larger space.
Our choices for dinner were very flavorful, and the wine and drink list is extensive.
Completed dinner with dessert and coffee.
For that special occasion or dinner before a Peace Center performance, it's a perfect complement.
It reminded me of dining in one of the NYC Restaurant Row establishments before a play. Fantastic.

Absolutely incredible food. The tomato cream lobster ravioli was earth shattering. So much flavor. Very traditional dishes extremely elevated. Will definitely be back!
