June 14th around 3:30 was our first trip to this restaurant. The young lady working was very friendly and helpful. She is the kind of employee every restaurant needs. The food was very good. Will be coming back.

We used Tropical Grille for lunch catering whilst we had an onsite business meeting. The food was excellent and the pick up order was prompt. Everyone loved the food and we will be ordering for the next onsite meeting. Great food great service

This is a local chain which promotes themselves as serving healthy food. We ordered two Cubans with different toppings, both were insanely salty. Pork was the protein winner. They offered us sauces, which I declined, but they do have sauce to change the flavor... but likely would just add more salt, which it didn’t need. I actually tried to find the nutritional information, which isn’t available online... but I did find an article saying they removed MSG in 2019, which would be great if that had cut some sodium. They were very busy and had dine in and drive through for convenience. Huge portions.

We met some friends for lunch and enjoyed it very much. I had the Deluxe Classic which has a chopped chicken breast over lettuce and yellow rice. They were busy but we got our meal in a short time. It was good and we enjoyed it.

This is a restaurant I used to write raving reviews for but in the past couple years the service has gotten worse and worse. Makes me really sad. Today I had a horrible experience with the manager Jen. I treated someone for lunch even when funds are very tight and was given a code to scan for points that didn’t work. These points may be silly to some but when I’m finally getting to use my very little money I have to eat out, I was excited about the credit I’d have for one of my favorite restaurants. I called after my visit and someone kind did answer who said she’d absolutely put 2 new codes to scan under the register and would let a manager know . When I arrived to pick up, Jen was not only rude to me but she made me feel like I was bothering her and an annoyance and bulked at helping me out. I don’t know if I had called the wrong tropical grill before or what, but that’s no excuse for how she treated me. If this had been the tropical grill of years before, they would have bent over backwards to help me because that’s the amazing service this restaurant used to have. Sad.

The kinks have not been worked out at this location. My husband had to return our order twice. Please communicate. I can't express how wrong our order was and we used our phone app to get the points. Guy behind the counter could not find our points and somehow deleted our account. We eat at TG probably 3 times a week and had accrued a lot of points. All are gone. I love the food but I will go to the one in Mauldin from now on. I just cant believe all of our points are gone! I just wanted a vegetarian and jalapeño sauce. My husband wanted chicken with yellow rice. None of it was right. This location needs work.

Ever since they changed how they prepare their yuca, it has been subpar. Today especially. It was saturated in oil and inedible. This picture does do it justice, but you can see the oil at the bottom. Very disappointed.

Not only do they have yummy food, but they have wonderful customer service. I had a challenge (of my own creating) when I was there tonight and they were so helpful. I was thankful for their compassion in addition to a great dinner!

New location. Very clean. The workers dont interest with customers much. I like the chain though. They're very popular in Greenville. I would definitely recommend.
