LOVE tropical grille, however the service is NOT acceptable. The girl giving out orders at the window while eating food is disgusting and unhygienic. Never once saw her wash her hands while serving 3 cars their food while eating.

I enjoy eating at Tropical Grille, the food is served hot and fresh (typically). And even though I only use the drive-thru, I always leave a generous tip. However, within the last few months, whenever I order food in the evening 1-2 hours prior to closing I have received extremely overcooked / hard chicken. It has become so bad that I've intentionally stopped eating at this particular location (Woodruff Road) after 6:00 pm.
While the food is good, their food preparation practices towards the end of the night need to be changed / re-evaluated by the manager(s) / owners. I'm all for having a minimal amount of food waste but not at the expense of a customer's order and serving overcooked food instead of fresh preparation.

I haven't ate here in a while, so I decided to pick up something for dinner. I ordered the carna asada bowl and the stars sandwich . I asked for a lemonade but the young lady said their lemonade machine was not working so I got a fruit punch. I got to the window and paid . While I'm waiting on my food, another employee, male, walks up and gets some lemonade from a machine right behind her, even though I was told I couldn't get because it wasn't working? I will no be returning to this business and I don't recommend anyone go here. The steak sandwich was good and the bowl was too, but the steak had a lot of chewy parts ,like the fat wasn't trimmed off of it.

What a great place for some real favorites! If you like tropical style foods like we do this is the place! My wife had the chicken Cuban bowl and I had the Cuban pork bowl. Both were absolutely delicious. Portions large enough that we had a light dinner with our lunch leftovers. They also make some terrific sauces to accompany the treasure of food. We'll definitely be back!

It was my first time and food was surprisingly good and service was good (I think it was owner lady for that location).Place was very clean and nice. It gave me a good impression on Tropical Grille and look forward to visit many more times to venture different locations.

I've been to many different locations for this franchise, but the one here on Woodruff Rd. beats them all. My favorites are the Cuban pork bowl, the chicken and veggie bowl, and their fries are incredible! Seriously, try them with some of the jalapeno sauce, and you'll be hooked. I've known Kristen, the manager, for a good long while, and always enjoy interacting with her. The star of the show the day I went last weekend was definitely Quenzel. He's a very friendly and inviting dude with a large personality who spoke to everyone as though they were a regular, and made me laugh on multiple occasions. We ended up chatting after I finished eating as well, and I'll be back to enjoy the food and interactions! Highly recommend!

Quinzelle at the woodruff rd TG is the best !!!! He deserves a raise and more. Friendly courteous helpful and I love it when he is serving me . I can’t read yr new menu outside the sun glare blocks it!!!!
