Went to Tropical Grille. Again.
Ordered the Cuban bowl. Chicken. Black beans. White rice. Nothing fancy.
Chicken was warm. Tender. Probably cared for more than I’ve been today. Beans were just right. Rice didn’t judge me.
They gave me sauce, too. I didn’t ask. They just knew. Kind of makes you feel like someone noticed you exist.
Place was bright. Smelled like hope. Too bad I had to leave eventually.
Anyway... I’ll be back. Probably sooner than I should. Not that anyone’s keeping track. – Eeyore

It was a great meal and it was affordable! ! ! I had a Caesar chicken wrap, and the breading was like a buttery chalupa shell. Absolutely amazing. My son got the classic chicken sandwich, he ate every bite, which is odd for him. They also have a great signature Mustard Curry sauce, and a Garlic Cilantro ranch sauce that are worth trying. Definitely coming back.

Went there earlier today before work to grab a bite to eat .I had a regular classic bowl with the grilled chicken and yellow rice.My grilled chicken was burnt out disgusting. Tropical grilled yall need to do better and the chicken was dry.

The steak sandwich was so yummy - thin crispy bread and wonderfully seasoned steak. The staff were very polite and the restaurant AND bathroom were very clean. You can tell they care here(:
Just want to say, my second time in Greenville and first time at Tropical Grille & ouuu it Hit The Spot! Thanks to the amazing staff! Especially Abiel the manager & Kai! Very friendly and professional. Will be visiting again on my visits back.
I had such a great experience at the Downtown Greenville Tropical Grille last night! I got there about an hour before closing, and the two guys working were so kind and welcoming. The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor—so delicious! And of course, the sauces never disappoint. Really appreciate the great service and meal!

I usually always get the Cuban sandwich or Cuban bowl when I come here and never really have any issues. That one guy Curtis is usually working about everytime I go and he gets me in and out in no time which is great.

Don’t know what Curtis’ problem is, but someone needs to teach that kid customer service. The employees messed this lady’s order up and he responded by having an attitude, cutting her off when she was trying to explain herself, telling her it was her fault bc she confused “his employees”. I almost asked for my money back in fear my order was gonna be messed up too lol seems like Curtis needs a baby sitter. Always have loved tropical grille. Definitely won’t be going to the location on S Main St again lol Curtis is rude as hell to the cx’s. I watched him be rude to 3 people while they were ordering and I was waiting for my food. Dude shouldn’t be in charge of the store. Clearly doesn’t know how to interact with people.
