We didn't know this location in TR existed. Tropical Grille has really grown over the last 20 years. I love hearing Christian radio in any of their locations.

I really don't even know if a star is even deserved based on service/their customer service. I've been there twice.....cashier was rude both times. Her service was as if she felt like I was annoying her. I was very polite. Food always is awesome but thata just no way to look or treat a customer. And just to think that those are the guys that's preparing my food....I had to feed my crew....my workers....I ordered 6 plates and the cooks looked as if I wasn't supposed to do so. I asked for extra sauce and thr cashier was rude about that as well. Awful. I recommend that Tropicall Grill to get another crew. Very unprofessional.

I appreciate this food it's good I love the sauces. Even if the service isn't so great the food makes up for it

I am a regular at Tropical Grille, and recommend it to my students to order for their groups often. The last 2 times I went to the TR location, I was charged too much. I reached out about it this second time, I didn’t hear back and had to reach out again. The store manager who responded was not helpful, not accurate, and never apologized. He even sent me screenshots of the prices I should have been charged, which you can see in my email on my receipt were not what I was charged. I should have received a “I am very sorry for the inconvenience, here is the refund or gift card”. Instead, I won’t be returning or recommending anyone to the TR location.

This used to be my go to place, I went there this evening and ordered my south of the border. No cheese, no sour cream and no salsa in my dish. I usually get beans added not even asked. Then I waited 30 minutes while they made every call in order ahead of customers in their lobby. Sad service and zero attention to detail!

A team of mine ordered a large order of this for lunch. They forgot six of the 25 bowls. We didn't notice until we got back, which was out fault, but we called and they were able to fix it and make all six bowls for us. It caused confusion and negativity, but we ended up working it out. The people on the phone were not the kindest, but they did help, which I appreciate.
The food itself is pretty dang good. Plantains are hard to beat, and even the vegan bowl was really good.
Convenient location, too. Perfect for a Furman student.

My wife and I ate here for the first time today and our food was THE BEST meal we have eaten in all the years I have been coming to Spartanburg & Greenville. The FrenchFries were the best I've ever had, and the Ham Croquettes were delicious as well. The smash burger and Tropical Chicken sandwich was delicious too. It is not very often that you go to a restaurant and everything is cooked to perfection. I couldn't have asked for a better meal at any price!!!

Love, Love, Love my new favorite place to eat first time trying it love all the different types of sauces you can try with your food they were all very flavorful which pair well with classic bowl of meat of your choice rice and different types of sides with a drink prices were affordable for the amount of food you get which is plenty perfect place for lunch on the go Trust me you won’t waste your money here keep in mind they charge you for your sauces buts it’s worth it definitely will be returning and definitely recommend 10|10

We had the Cuban steak sandwich and they were great but the signature sauces – those were fantastic! Very friendly service!
PS: didn't know this until after we had placed our order but they do offer cauliflower rice!

Great food, atmosphere feels weird sometimes I don’t like it. Also I usually get a box, but this time I gotten a bowl don’t why, plus the sauce even look down sized don’t know what that’s about

I take back my 5 stars from a few months ago. Unfortunately the last 4 times we’ve been it’s super inconsistent and the portions are never the same. Shame on you tropical grill. If I’m spending over $50 for dinner the least you can freaking do is try.

AMAZING customer service! There was an epic fail with our order. When we got home and unpacked the food we realized it was wrong. I called the restaurant (Greer HWY 14). Very nice lady apologized and said come in tomorrow and I'll give you the right meal. So today my husband stopped in and they made everything right and then some. We hear all the time how bad service is Tropical Grille you do it right! We love the food and have never had a complaint until last night but we'll be loyal and faithful customers for many years to come. Job well done
