Tropical Grille

A team of mine ordered a large order of this for lunch. They forgot six of the 25 bowls. We didn't notice until we got back, which was out fault, but we called and they were able to fix it and make all six bowls for us. It caused confusion and negativity, but we ended up working it out. The people on the phone were not the kindest, but they did help, which I appreciate.
The food itself is pretty dang good. Plantains are hard to beat, and even the vegan bowl was really good.
Convenient location, too. Perfect for a Furman student.

My wife and I ate here for the first time today and our food was THE BEST meal we have eaten in all the years I have been coming to Spartanburg & Greenville. The FrenchFries were the best I've ever had, and the Ham Croquettes were delicious as well. The smash burger and Tropical Chicken sandwich was delicious too. It is not very often that you go to a restaurant and everything is cooked to perfection. I couldn't have asked for a better meal at any price!!!

Love, Love, Love my new favorite place to eat first time trying it love all the different types of sauces you can try with your food they were all very flavorful which pair well with classic bowl of meat of your choice rice and different types of sides with a drink prices were affordable for the amount of food you get which is plenty perfect place for lunch on the go Trust me you won’t waste your money here keep in mind they charge you for your sauces buts it’s worth it definitely will be returning and definitely recommend 10|10

We had the Cuban steak sandwich and they were great but the signature sauces – those were fantastic! Very friendly service!
PS: didn't know this until after we had placed our order but they do offer cauliflower rice!

I take back my 5 stars from a few months ago. Unfortunately the last 4 times we’ve been it’s super inconsistent and the portions are never the same. Shame on you tropical grill. If I’m spending over $50 for dinner the least you can freaking do is try.

AMAZING customer service! There was an epic fail with our order. When we got home and unpacked the food we realized it was wrong. I called the restaurant (Greer HWY 14). Very nice lady apologized and said come in tomorrow and I'll give you the right meal. So today my husband stopped in and they made everything right and then some. We hear all the time how bad service is Tropical Grille you do it right! We love the food and have never had a complaint until last night but we'll be loyal and faithful customers for many years to come. Job well done

Why did you change your yellow rice? Seems to be some type of precooked rice but its texture seems only half cooked and it's flavorless. Do you now use this rice at all locations or just the Old Buncombe one? I used to frequent the Pelham Road location before I moved and it was always delicious. Please go back to the old rice. Thank you.

I recently had a misunderstanding with the person in charge of the place, I had a Doordash order in which the customer asked me for a jalapeño sauce but the person at the place came out and wouldn't let me take it without first seeing the receipt that said it was paid, finally my client complained to me for not bringing what he had already paid for through the application and that affected my job as a dasher so I hold the manager responsible for not serving her clients well.
