I have been going here over the years, but most recently over the last year because of a friend, I love the bartenders, but not the owner!I’m an older lady and yes, I might have had to much to drink because I have had heartbreak for more than 5 years! If you want to be man handled by lurch (Matt) the owner then this is the place for you! Never again for me!

Wow. Thanks for the recommendation of a cool divebar. In town, ready to spend money.. we are service industry people. This place was empty and told us that we had to pay $25 for membership and couldnt drink until the next day. How awesome. It’s not “cool”… we know how to keep bars cool in athens without having to charge fees. Thanks for ruining our night.

Great place. My friends and I were looking for a place to hang out and catch up. Everyone was nice and friendly. Fun place to have a conversation, grab drinks, play pool, watch TV and play ping pong. My friends have fond memories of coming here in the past.Parking: Lots of parking

The best bar in Greenville, with the best customers. It is a membership bar, but well worth the membership fee. Only one other place I go, but we always end up back at Ty’s for Ali or Shawn. Lisa, Kerri are great also for a day drink.

Good drinks, good prices, pool tables, and good people.Reminder: Not a public bar, you must be a member.

NOT A PUBLIC BAR. Went in with some friends looking for a quaint dive. Greeted by a rude bartender and many turned heads from the patrons. Apparently this is a member-only establishment (so they can smoke inside). When asked how to apply, she pointed to an aged sign behind her that read “NO NEW MEMBERS.” That’s fine—the place smells like someone vomited in an ash tray anyway.

walked in looking for a dive close to home and was greeted by an unfriendly bartender asking if we had a membership. we did not and asked how to get one and was told “you have to know someone here.” we were probably turned away because we are younger but we would have been regulars here if treated differently.

I wondered in here on vacation and they treated me like family. No windows, low lights; if you have "your place" somewhere this is "your place" in Greenville.
