Tater tots were overcooked. Brisket on burger was skimpy at best. Going in the wrong direction

Great lunch spot today. Plenty of seating outdoors so we could bring our pet. Cold beer too!

I love UJ! Sammie is the best waitress, so kind and attentive, always going above and beyond. The southwest quesadilla and loaded tots are always are go to. And cannot forget about the manager, Harvey, always making sure his guests are known and taken care of (plus making the best drinks)!! Our favorite neighborhood establishment. Good time, food, drinks, and even better staff.

Universal Joint’s happy hour is their saving grace. $2 PBR drafts, and multiple other options are a great deal away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Greenville. The food is alright. I haven’t tried everything, but the “classic” menu items like chicken fingers or wings are just subpar. The sauces are house-made, which I do love, but they try too hard, in my opinion. The “ranch” was sent back because it looks like Bleu Cheese. Turns out, it is ranch, but it contains chunks of onions and other spices, effectively making it into a French Onion Dip. Overall, it’s a great price, but the god just doesn’t meet the mark.

My first time dining here. Riley was an absolute ROCKSTAR server. Didn't have to wait any excessive amount of time. The brisket dip was phenomenal. Place was a little loud for my taste but not the restaurants fault. Will definitely have to come back here again

My visit to this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I ordered a black bean burger that tasted like saw dust. I hope they reevaluate the quality of this menu item in the future seeing that it comes with a whopping price of $16+ dollars! I had to throw it away after the first bite. The service was subpar as well.

Welcome to a place that feels like home. People often say places are special to them, but no place is quite as special as Universal Joint. The staff (Harvey, Riley, Kelsey, Ashley), the regulars, the food… that’s what makes this place special. If you’re looking for a place to get a quick meal go somewhere else… if you’re looking for a place you’ll always remember and will become a part of your future, come to Universal Joint.
