I chose to celebrate a special birthday at Urban Wren. We hosted family members in a small dining area. It was a fabulous evening! Our server a total pro, staff members all pros, cocktails and menu selections the best we have had in Greenville. Thank you all! Jan Bailey.

Excellent meal in every respect. Food, wine, service, ambience. Wild Mushroom appetizer, Chicken and Burnt Ends, and the Fin and Belly were superb.

Nice place, good menu, loved the meat n cheese plate and the upscale "corn dog" starters! A bunch of us had the fin and belly dinner (tuna with pork belly, in veg and savory broth), it was excellent! Nice bar and extensive wine list if you want to go with getting a bottle or 2...

Went for dinner and Lauren was our server. First of all, service was fantastic, she was so attentive and sweet. I had the gnochetti mac, brussel sprouts, and chocolate cake and it was soooo delicious. The gnochetti and chocolate dessert are so rich every bite was so worth it. The chocolate isn't overly sweet but more of a hint of dark chocolate. The brussel sprouts are also fantastic as a shareable option. Only thing I will say is that I also added pork to my gnochetti in hopes to get a some protein, and it wasn't to my taste, felt a little too dry and lacked a bit of flavor in my opinion. Otherwise, absolutely recommend this place.

Urban Wren truly brings a new level to “above and beyond” experiences. Chef Taylor and his kitchen team craft dishes that are phenomenal and nothing like I’ve ever seen. The staff all reflect their passion for offering the best service. BIG fan of the paper bag salad, wild mushrooms, and chicken + burnt ends. I am always confident in sending friends and family their way because I can trust it will be noteworthy dining ?

Urban Wren is a 10/10 every time. It is so wonderful to have a restaurant in town that is consistently delicious has a great atmosphere and has wonderful staff every time we visit. Perfect for all occasions, we've had family dinners, business meetings, date nights, you name it, Urban Wren can accommodate it.

Every dish was a hit, the atmosphere was perfect for date night, and I only have praise for the service. The Brussel sprouts were one of the highlights but everything was delicious-- it's difficult to choose a favorite for the night. Wine selection was impressive and the cocktails were amazing. If wine and cocktails arent your speed, they offer a small but tasty beer selection. The only small inconvenience was the lack of a private parking lot but there's a public lot you can pay for across the street and free street parking available as well if you can find it.

My husband made a reservation here to celebrate our valentines day. He was really excited about taking me but when we showed up they had lost our reservation. So we had to sit and wait for the manager to find an available table for us to sit at. They did find one and the hostess came to seat us but when we got to the table it was still dirty so we had to stand awkwardly waiting for it to be cleaned. We ordered the 5 course valentines menu. The food was sub par. We did enjoy the fish and the hen courses but everything else was less than stellar and portion sizes very small. We also did the wine pairings but did not enjoy alot of the wines. We are both still hungry after leaving and paying 300$ for food. When we got the bill it was 311$ without gratuity. Our waitress was very good and we had no issues with her at all. My issue with this place is that I have eaten way better food for alot cheaper than 300$. I would not recommend this place for a romantic celebration.

5 stars across the board. The wait staff and food are some of the best in Greenville. Wife and I shared a few dishes and not one dish was bad. The bread had great flavor and the smoked butter was wonderful. The khichen had a great heat and all around great flavor. The gnochetti Mac was my wife’s favorite. Of course we had to try the truffle parm potatoes which were spot on.

Extraordinary. The way each cocktail and plate pulls together so many different flavors and balances them expertly is really a serious achievement. In 4 small plates, took a little journey around the culinary world: chicken with an elevated Southern vibe -- the pot liquor from the greens in the sauce was beautiful savagery -- focaccia for soaking up that sauce, Mediterranean moments in the Brussels sprouts, Asian inspiration in the paper bag salad. Each dish was so different, astoundingly well-done, and they all played together so well.If this isn't your top food spot in Greenville right now, it must be because you haven't been yet.

This place was hopping on the weekend. Glad we got a reservation. Service was a little slow but it was packed and apparently their fryer had an issue. So my red snapper took a while to arrive. Great wines and interesting dishes.Parking: There is a lot across the street. $4 for 2 hours.
