Viva Tacos & Birria is a street taco and ramen restaurant offering a small menu of street tacos, street corn, ramen, and quesadillas. The Quesa Birria is a favorite, packed with flavors of fresh squeezed limes and a delicious dipping broth of onions and cilantro. Alongside, the street corn is fantastic. The birria tacos are out of this world, and the guacamole is fresh and so good. The people working there are fantastic and very friendly. The rustic atmosphere is charming, though it can get warm inside. Luckily, there are picnic tables outside to enjoy. Parking is ample in the evening, but might be challenging mid-day. With the infamous Birria pizza and best birria tacos in town, this restaurant is a standout in Greenville’s taco scene. Tacos are made fresh and not greasy, and the broth to dip them in is amazing. Open late, until 2am on weekends and 12 during the week, it’s one of the best authentic Mexican spots in town. Prices are decent, though some orders like the steak sopes may vary.
