My lovely wife and I were up in Greenville for a mini vacation and we have been trying the different restaurants up here. We felt like Mexican food the other night. As we never been to Greenville before we didn’t know where to go so used my good friend “Google” to help me. I got a few names back so I did my homework and decided Viva Villa sounded like the best one to try. I am glad we did . We got seated right away and our lovely waitress, Catarina, came over and took our drink orders. A few minutes later she returned with our drinks and we gave he our orders at this time. Lovely wife got the Burrito Fajita. I ordered the Burrito California. About 10 minutes later our food arrived. WOW. Our dishes looked awesome. My burrito was huge. It was the best Mexican I ever ate. It was so tasty with just the right amount of spices. My lovely wife loved her Burrito and agreed with me about being the best Mexican we ever had. The restaurant was clean. The service was very good. Catarina was very polite and knowledgeable about the menu items. I Give the restaurant an A for being very clean and was great atmosphere. The food was A++. Catarina was a great waitress. She also got an A++. All around an awesome restaurant. If/when you are in Greenville go give Viva Villa a try it. You will not be disappointed. ✌️❤️?

Typical Mexican dive restaurant in an old Pizza Hut but the food will pleasantly surprise you. The Viva Villa chicken is amazing!

Our first time at the downtown GVL location. Fresh and great cuisine, wonderful service and a fun atmosphere. Can’t wait to return. Great Margheritas, chunky guacamole, fantastic entree selection and fun desserts. !Gracias Speedy Gonzalez and team!

Enchilada sauce was very very good and the tamale was moist! We have had better carnitas but over all a strong Mexican restaurant in Greenville. Service was a bit slow but still had great vibes.

Service is no good here. Sat 15 min no drink food isn't bad at all. Ask to speak to a manager. No one here to supervise. Staff was busy playing with each other. Everything is overpriced. Seemed to were more catering to the Caucasian folks, then Hispanics. Not asking for anything special just equality.

After being seated and advising the waiter of my drink order, approximately 15 minutes went by and I did not receive my drink nor any acknowledgement from the waiter or waitstaff. During this time, the waiter routinely refilled water glasses and collected checks from the tables around me. This was my third time attending this restaurant and the first time I was completely ignored.
The best! We love eating here! The staff is great and the food is delicious!

Loved Viva Villa been going 2x per week for over a year at the Mauldin location. Our favorite and always recommended However, something changed recently, some of the food taste different and the service has become very poor service. The wait to be served has been at least 25-30 minutes just to be asked what we need Hope it is just temporarily or going to have to find a new place.

I went here with friends on cinco de Mayo. I expected it to be busy and they seemed to be understaffed but our server got EVERYTHING wrong and we waited HOURS for drinks. Also I paid my bill and left and then days later I found out that they charged $10 tip that I did not add onto my bill nor was I told that it would be added, good thing I have a copy of my receipt. This was the WORST experience at a restaurant EVER, DO NOT RECOMMEND

The food was spectacular. I really enjoyed my tacos. Also as a dessert to their patrons, they give you a sweet tortilla with whipped cream and drizzle of strawberry sauce. Would recommend this spot.
