Great Tacos & Friendly Service!
I visited Viva Villa Mexican Grill and ordered street tacos two chicken and one al pastor. The tacos were delicious! The chicken was soft and juicy, and the al pastor had a great flavor with bits of pineapple, which was a nice touch. They also gave free chips and salsa, which was a great bonus.
Service was fast, and the staff was friendly. One thing to note they don’t accept tap-to-pay, so make sure to bring a card or cash. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!

**edit: Ariadna was amazing! We haven't been here since our last comment, but we tried today because we were in downtown. To our surprise, they gave us an option of "shredded lettuce or spring mix" when we ordered! So thankful that the restaurant owners maybe read our feedback, and tried to make it better. We are extremely happy! We got our date spot back! ❤️❤️
**edit: they used to have the best taco salad in Greenville. But a few weeks/months ago, they changed the lettuce that they used and it's not the same anymore. Very very very DiSSAPOINTING. They can't substitute to the old shredded lettuce either, even when they use the shredded lettuce for their fajita plate. I guess we have to look for another place that makes good taco salad. Also, there are not many vegetarian options here. Don't think we will be coming back. This used to be our favorite date spot and would come a few times a week. 💔

Vanessa was our waitress. She did an amazing job at getting us anything we needed quickly and our order was absolutely perfect! She was so polite and welcoming. We have been coming to Viva La Villa since they opened up several years ago and we love it so much. It’s always the best experience and such a staple in downtown Greenville, SC! We hope they’re here for many years to come! The best nights are going to a baseball game right next door at Flour Field and then heading to Viva La Villa for dinner after. 10/10 recommend!
