Chips and salsa were amazing but customer service was absolutely horrible!! We waited on our check for 15-20 minuets , cleaned up the table ourselves while our waitress sat 2 booths down from us with other employees laughing and being on their phone. Although the food was amazing, I will never be back here or recommend this place due to the horrific customer service experience. I have never seen something like this before. So uncomfortable and highly do not recommend! Your waiters will either be laughing sitting at a table ignoring you, or standing against the wall staring at you.

Stopped at Viva Villa and ordered combo fajitas with wife. Food bland, not much flavor. Waitress overcharged us for the combo fahitas. Felt rushed. Margaritas way overpriced at $15 per drink. Tasted like pure sugar water. Ugh!!!! Wife felt ill after eating there. Won't return!!!

They have horrible service. They served our entire table and then forgot one of our guest food and an hour later we still have not received it! We waited over 30 minutes for water! The location in Mauldin is definitely better.

First of all, BEST MUSIC!!!! They were playing straight bops. My mushroom and spinach quesadilla was so good !! Our waitress was so tentative and kind.

We live downtown and this is our "go to" spot for fajitas and guac. Typically we go when the weather is nice enough to sit in the back outdoor area. We've always found the service to be excellent

Viva Villa is right in a cute area to walk around, shop, and see some sights. I ordered the fajitas and customized them to be vegan. They accommodated me easily. Our food was fine and our server was friendly and attentive.

Perfect before or after Flour Field event. Yummy Tacos to go. ACP and draft Mexican beer! Positive vibes bartenders!

This place is the best, I have been going to them for years. I actually follow them from another location. It's hard to find Mexican food this good.

Food was delicious! I ordered the nachos, my husband got the fajitas and our son got the cheese quesadilla. It was all very tasty. The waitress was super kind and did her job professionally. She even brought us a tiny dessert to share for free, which I thought was very kind because it was my birthday. She was very nice to our two year old and even asked him directly if his food was good.We ate out on the patio and it was nice and quiet, I do wish there would have been quiet music or something for background noise.Kid-friendliness: Super nice to our child!

As a mexican person I would rank it regular, food is almost authentic but is not the tastiest and is a little expensive. Service is good but they don't accept contactless payment. If you're mexican I recommend to go somewhere else.

Hey there, food enthusiasts and flavor aficionados! Today, we're taking a trip down to downtown Greenville, South Carolina, to experience the fiesta at Viva Villa Mexican Grill. And let me tell you, folks, this place brings the heat in more ways than one!As I walked into Viva Villa, I was immediately struck by the vibrant colors and lively atmosphere. It's like stepping into a home renovation project gone right, with every corner bursting with energy. The walls are adorned with beautiful Mexican artwork, and the music fills the air like the sound of power tools in action. Now, let's get to the main event: the food! Viva Villa takes Mexican cuisine and turns it up to 11. Their menu is a symphony of flavors, featuring all the classics you know and love, plus some unexpected twists that'll make your taste buds sing. From sizzling fajitas to mouthwatering enchiladas, they've got it all covered, just like a well-stocked toolbox. One dish that really grabbed my attention was the "Macho Nachos Grande." This mountain of crispy tortilla chips is piled high with all the fixings you can imagine, from savory seasoned beef to melted cheese, fresh guacamole, and tangy salsa. It's like a power surge of flavor that'll leave you shouting "viva villa!" at the top of your lungs just like I do when I tell the kids to be quiet or ill turn the cat around! But that's not all, folks! Viva Villa also boasts an impressive selection of refreshing beverages. Their margaritas are like the ultimate power tool for your taste buds, with a variety of flavors that'll make your head spin (in a good way, of course!). Whether you like them frozen or on the rocks, these margaritas pack a punch that's sure to leave you feeling satisfied. Now, let's talk about the service at Viva Villa. Just like a trusty sidekick, the staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to lend a helping hand. They'll guide you through the menu, offer recommendations, and ensure that your dining experience is as smooth as a well-oiled machine. In terms of value, Viva Villa provides a bang for your buck that even Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor would appreciate. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices won't make your wallet feel like it's been hit with a power tool. It's a win-win situation, my friends! So, my fellow flavor enthusiasts, if you find yourself in downtown Greenville, make sure to visit Viva Villa Mexican Grill. The have 3 different types of taco salad. I chose one of the taco salads, and it was THE BEST Taco salad that I have ever had! It wasn't wet or soggy. It was perfect. The shell was nice and crispy too.

Salsa is excellent, with a nice delayed heat. My wife had the street tacos. Chicken, carnitas, and Al Pastor. Her favorite was the Al pastor. Mine was the carnitas. I had the fajita steak burrito. Outstanding!!! We will definitely be back.
