Stopped in for lunch today around 11:30. Service and food were good as always. However experience was ruined by loud music blaring throughout the diner. One employee was dancing around. She obviously chose the crap music. Just turn it down in the future!
It was nice and quiet when I walked in only a few people seated... the waitress was very nice but they were backed up on orders but yet hardly anybody on the inside... I placed my order and I told the waitress I would be back in 15 mins to pick it up... I waited, went back inside and yet the order wasn't up, no clue on what the cook was doing but it took less this a few mins to get my order ready after the fact... Texas bacon cheese melt plate with a waffle, scrambled eggs...
I've been in several waffle houses. I always am amazed by the food. And waitresses and the Master cook and all cooks really behind the counter.
I felt special and food was on time and my covered smothered perfect.
Customer service was good.
Felt welcome., so much so eating there if up that way def eating at this one on Haywood!
