I just had a great breakfast meal at the Waffle House located on Melvin Drive in Greenville South Carolina and I am happy to give Waffle House a good review. I was treated very well by a Donna who provided excellent service with a pleasant atmosphere.

Inattentive service even with 5 people working and the water & coffee gave us food poisoning. Nasty from the start and shouldn’t have drank it all. They gave us to-go plates and cups instead of real plates and cups and mugs when we ate in. Overall really bad experience ? Never coming back again. I usually give restaurants at least a 2 star rating. This was awful and deserves negative stars.

Doors locked while staff was laying in the booths. Was told they were “closed”. I immediately called the store to place a “togo” order and was told “go ahead”. So no, they weren’t closed. Just being lazy. Has happened multiple times. Managers really need to do something about this issue.
