Nice historic location in an old cotton mill. Nice variety on the menu. We had a party of 6 and made reservations.
Woodside Bistro catered our wedding, and it was phenomenal. The planning process, the service at the wedding, the food etc… everything was top tier. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding night so memorable—because everyone always remembers the food! We would recommend Woodside Bistro to anyone looking to have their wedding/special event catered, and even if you need lunch/dinner, it’s also one of our favorite restaurants in Greenville! Thank you, Woodside Bistro!
We’ve visited this restaurant three times as we enjoyed the food and cocktails, unfortunately, we won’t be returning again due to the ongoing service issues that have been impossible to overlook.
Each time we visited, the service was incredibly slow—even when the restaurant was nearly empty. On one occasion, we were one of only two tables in the entire place, yet still waited an unreasonably long time for drinks and basic service. The bartender was completely absent, and there didn’t seem to be anyone else available—or willing—to help with beverages. Meanwhile, several staff members were visible either standing around inside or outside the restaurant.
It’s deeply frustrating to enjoy the food but feel like a burden just trying to get a drink or place an order. We had really hoped things would improve after the first and second visits, but sadly the pattern remained the same.
With better front-of-house management and more attentive service, this could be one of our favorite spots. But as it stands, it’s just not worth the wait or the hassle.
So much potential but the service and apparent mismanagement makes this place a no-go.
I'm nearly speechless...visited from out of town, this place is in the sketchiest neighborhood I've ever been through and I'm from Detroit. We called ahead and were told they could take our party of 25, what they didn't say is that they had no staff to support us. We waited 2 1/2 hours for our food, everything was incredibly late, missing, so on. Staff was unapologetic, manger was defensive and frankly rude. I could go on but don't want to relive it...
Very good food. Will go again if we’re in the area again.
My rating is not based on the food because I couldn’t get any food. They have the algorithm to set it as for them to come up when you put BEST soup near into Google when you’re in Woodside, but they don’t have any kind of soup at all. I mean, I knew this restaurant was full of it, but not to this extent anyways will never come back zero out of 10 would not recommend.
Cool drink and app spot for sure. Awesome atmosphere
It was our first time at this wonderful Bistro. We went there to celebrate my son’s birthday and we had a great time!

We love this place! We are from NJ and recently moved here. The staff are always great and food is amazing. And that guy Reid's post is false. We were (still are) sitting here at the bar when he came in, and dude didn't even look at menu. He just walked to bathroom and left. Smh! Don't let his review fool you. We love it!
Tried to come here and walked in. No one greeted me or cared to give me any attention. Stood there waiting but nothing. Oh well. The menu didn’t look good and the prices were high.
My daughter suggested we try this hidden gem for lunch. The place has a unique vibe with great welcoming service. From the decor, you know it has a lot of history. The fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and sweet chili sauce were excellent and gave me a new spot to visit for one of my favorite foods. Words can't explain the flavor of the French Dip sandwich with truffle fries. Unfortunately, the Catfish plate did not have the same reaction. The coating on the fish did not help. Next time, I'll go with my gut and get the Korean BBQ wings instead of garlic parmesan.
First time here. Enjoyed the outdoor seating
The restaurant was cute, and we arrived with a party of about 10 people, but it took an hour for the food to be served and it wasn't the best breakfast we've had in town. It just didn't feel like the quality was worth the wait or price.
