Delicious food, wonderful value, friendly people. Some faves that I recommend to others: the pork chops, roast beef, green beans, rice and gravy, mac and cheese, sweet tea, rolls, corn bread muffins, and cookie pudding. God bless you, guys!
Slime Soup
Food is usually incredible. However this latest time I got a plate and bought a sweet tea with it I finished the tea and opened the lid to start chewing the ice and to my absolute horror there was a dead baby roach in my cup. Extremely disappointed with Amish Oven for this.

The only thing that tasted good was Mac n cheese and the vegetable rice. The chicken tasted sweaty, and watery. The okra soup tasted like it came out the can. Mashed potatoes were cold.

The best place to go for lunch during the weekday if you’re looking for country cookin!! I’m happy to eat here daily. The price is really cheap. I get 4 veggie’s, bread & desert for $8. You can’t beat that price.
