Visiting this restaurant for the first time was a horrible experience. When entering I could see the tables were dirty, then walking up to the counter to place an order the lady was so abrupt and rude I decided to spend my money else where. The dirty tables and diapers for sale along with many other things you don't typically see in a restaurant for sale should have been a dead give away...

Answered the phone a little rude. Hung up so fast, she didn't give me a price or a time frame. Get there and the place is dusty, etc. I look at the fryer and could tell the wings have been refried. Rice was hard. They had no other customers so I didn't get the rush to get off the phone yet not cooking fresh food. The taste was a 1 also.

I’m not sure how this place is rated so high. Im new to the area and I read the reviews and thought i would give them a try. I have tried this location 3X bc I thought maybe the 1st 2 times just weren’t good days. 3rd times the charm right? Sorry it wasn’t and was not worth the drive. Each time, the chicken tasted old or either recooked. It was tough like it was sitting for a while then cooked again. I can’t say that’s what happened , I’m only saying it just tasted that way. I could also taste that the grease used to cook the chicken was old or needed to be changed. My egg roll from each visit was a little smaller/ thinner than I’m used to but maybe that’s how it’s done here. On the last visit I ate less than half my plate- tried to finish even though I didn’t like it bc I don’t like waste my money- but ended up throwing it in the garbage. The food didn’t taste like it was made by a cook who enjoys cooking or is happy. The service was quick though and lady taking the order was pleasant. I also like the fact that they sell random items/ Knick knacks at the front from toiletries and make up to electronics and tools.

This is the best Chinese in Greenwood BY FAR!! I will drive further to go here than go anywhere in town. I have been going here for years. Their food is always great, I have never been disappointed!!
I saw a couple comments about the “attitude” and I would like to point out that English might not be their first language and how inappropriate those comments are. That family busts their tail every day to run that restaurant and I think they’re doing very good at it. Blunt and to the point conversation is not rude!
Visiting from ga .. the attitude over the phone horrible. The attitude while picking up horrible .the food spilled all in the bag from poor packaging.. the taste …. Disgusting. 0/10 can’t have a bad attitude and nasty food money wasted .

China King food is awesome. I’ve been going here for about the past 10 years for my take out lunch. They are a Chinese Family run small business, they are fast and efficient and their food is always good and fresh!!! Their house special fried rice is delish, as well as their egg rolls. Make sure you try their house special soup with large pieces of pork, chicken and shrimp and also veggies, celery, carrots, mushrooms, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots, it’s the absolute best!!!!!
