The food was really Good . The whole place has been renovated since the last restaurant went out of business and everything is fresh and updated . We had fried chicken , macaroni and cheese , green beans , cornbread and real home made mashed potatoes on one plate . Second plate had Pork Chop , Mashed Potatoes , Cabbage , Macaroni and Corn Bread . EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS ! THE Cooks are doing a Fantastic Job ! The manager and server need to be more acclimated of what to do to make everything run smoothly . Thanks for All the Hard Work ! And Thanks Again !

Unfortunately this restaurant is permanently closed. It is being renovated but not sure if it will be another restaurant.

The food is like home cooked out of your mama's kitchen. And the owners are very friendly and so nice. Which they was opened on Saturday's. But they need their rest days.

This place is the place to be for home cooking on your lunch break, friendly people putting out real food. Love it

This place is great. Great food (don't come if you're dieting) and fabulous service. Highly recommended.

The food was great! The restaurant is quite small for the amount of lunch traffic that comes in for it's soulful cuisine. I will definitely eat there again!

By 11:30 a.m. the line had already begun to lengthen. And it's only a Monday. Something must be cooking in the kitchen. This converted Pizza Hut asserts Amish-style cooking with a protein and two sides for only $8, which includes bread and a dessert. Get in line, read the board, and tell the server what to scoop onto your plate. Find a table and pay when you're done. Simple.Locals quickly filled the diner garnering plates full of fried chicken, meatloaf, or chicken and dumplings, with sides of mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, green beans, butter beans, or steamed cabbage. I don't know what the Amish might think, but after a few "darlings," honeys," and "y'alls," plus the obligatory bowed blessing sprinkled about, everyone seemed happy as a preacher after church.Looking for southern comfort food served quickly by friendly people? Got the oil frying in my "Give 'em a whirl" meter. Try here.

Small country restaurant with a great attitude. Country cooking with lots of flavor. Everyone was so nice and efficient. Will come back!

We are spending a week at Greenwood State Park, needed to venture into Greenwood and decided to have lunch. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this restaurant if you enjoy good country cooking with out all the grease or sugar. It is a true meat & 2 or 3, includes dessert! What a deal and it is very good!

This is hands down some of the best food I have ever eaten. The fried chicken was crunchy yet moist and the green beans were absolutely amazing.
