Best sushi in greenwood, hands down!
Diabolical shame of a restaurant. We waited 10 minutes to be addressed in the least. The kitchen staff had to notify serving staff that we had waited beyond a socially acceptable time frame to be waited on. The BEYOND subpar food came quickly probably because it was barely heated. Our “server” went on break and left us with remaining “staff”- whom acted as though they were not clocked in at all- that failed to check on us for half an hour. When I approached bar to pay the $100+ lunch tab, I asked if we could add a couple more beverages, and then the fill in said that she could not make those right now due to being busy with imaginary tasks. I didn’t demand drinks to be made right away, but I tried to have this incompetent woman add drinks to total tab to actually save her a step.
I am a bartender and am typically extremely patient and gracious, but I have physically never been turned away from earning an establishment money or met an opposition to patron satisfaction.
Literally sitting here in dismay. The vibration in this restaurant seems tense and aloof. Very disappointed but more so shocked at the irreverence and dishonor to the field of hospitality.
Update: she came back 15 minutes later to order drinks I had mentioned. She asked if we wanted her to use same glasses and I requested new (as the previous was quarter full of drink) and then she informed me I would have to wait longer for clean glasses. She said it was her coworkers’ faults for leaving on break and I informed her that had little to no impact of her mistreatment of the public.
Never asked if we needed anything else but did promptly drop off a check. Yet we took up space in this restaurant for 2 hours very necessarily. Again a failure on their part to understand profit margins (flipping tables) and hospitable experience.
I cannot make this up. Easily the Worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many nationally and beyond.

This was the worst experience I have ever experienced in Greenwood, SC. Three friends and I went out to eat for lunch, we waited 15 mins for beverages before anyone took our order. Two waitresses were fighting in front of customers about their break times and who was going to serve our table. The waitress that took our order left for break before we cashed out, we waited an additional 15 mins for someone to check us out. My friend then went to the bar to cash out and was going to add two more drinks before cashing out, the waitress told her “she did not have time right now.”
This lunch was $98 with beverages filled with ice, steak that was very over cooked, and veggies that were mostly cabbage. All of that aside, the service here was HORRIBLE and the disagreements in front of costumers is very unprofessional.
A mother who sat behind us with her 2 year old daughter, had to get up to check out, and get a to go plate.
I will not be wasting money here anymore. I would not suggest this restaurant to anyone, I will be going back to Nagoya’s down the street from now on.

First time coming here, it was not busy at all. We waiting for over 10 minutes after seated to get out drink order took after multiple servers including our own walked past us without saying a word. When the food arrived everything was cold and not cooked appropriately. I came here because I heard good things but I will not be returning.

Everything was amazing. Kyle was my server and was on top of the entire presentation.
The Angel Cheese Rolls were amazing. The hibachi was great as well. The ginger dressing was way above average. The soup was hot and great as well.
Make sure if you are in the area to check it out. Going back tomorrow for sushi and soup.

Sorry but has to be some of the worst pad Thai I have ever had. Super soggy and the chicken was really chewy. Maybe just an off day. But not impressed.

Go every friday for lunch. Ask for Lauren or Amy. Great servers. Food is fabulous.

The food was good, and the service was good. Everything was fine except I noticed that there were no prices on the minue, that's when I usually just get up and walk out but I was a guest, one of 9 so I had to stay. The food was good my meal was paid for and I still don't know the price of the meal so with so many other Japanese restaurants in town l don't think I would dine there very much only for the no price on the minue,l want to know what the price is for what l am ordering l'm very sorry if this offense the owner or manager that is not my intention, l wish l could see the price of everything so that I won't be hit with a big bill that I was not expecting. Overall I would definitely give them a very good review 👍 the food was top notch!

Terrible service. Once our order was taken, our server left on break. We did not receive any refills and had to request our check from the manager on shift after waiting for about 20 minutes after we finished eating. No staff checked on our table during our time in the restaurant. After requesting our check, she then told the only other server to grab it for us making our wait even longer. Then after waiting about 10 minutes to get the check from the manager on shift, we provided payment and met her at the front to receive our cards back. She then proceeded to tell us not to tip and did not offer any compensation for our terrible dining experience. Will not be returning. The manager on shift was also wearing flip flops.
