Over 30 years ago now my Lander college buddies and I always went to Miss Ann’s at least twice a week. We would stand there in the front scrounging up change from our pockets before closing, poor college kids just trying to get a few wings after a long day of classes. I believe Miss Ann took pity on us and would pile a few more in the box, sometimes enough where the box wouldn’t close and we would have to stuff some of those wings in our mouth walking out the door. She was such a nice lady and that chicken was addictive. I was back through Greenwood not long ago and was happy to see Miss Ann’s still there, not a thing changed. My wife and I sat in the little room and ordered some fried chicken and fried livers and had a ball-amazing like it was way back when. The main menu is still off to the side by the register so you have to squeeze in there to see all the great things they have-even fried oysters! I am coming back real soon, it is a perfect unassuming southern hole in the wall treat of a restaurant that is becoming fewer and farther between in our ever so expanding, gentrified & commercialized south. God bless Miss Ann’s Fried Chicken!

Price is right, the food is good, (probably the best value in greenwood) but, it doesn't have much for atmosphere.

Ordered hot and spicy wings but received regular wings. The guy working in there had his pants down below his buttocks. The lady working in there told him to pull up his pants…he never did. Totally felt unclean. Food and service has gone downhill and I use to live it when Miss Ann owned it.

Used to be no go to place. That's really getting kind of bad the last year or so. Chicken has actually no taste and appears to be cooked in old grease along with the french fries which I used to love. Not disgusting just average. But most people don't reviews and follow them anyway so find out for yourself

Took my Brother who is was visiting from out of town. So So disappointed!! Was surprised because I had been there a few Times. Don’t know what has happened. The chicken was so Bland and dry. Had to put a boat load of hot sauce to try to add flavor. Paid over $20 and all we got was dry, tasteless
