If you go here for lunch get the meat and 3 . I recommend the porkchop it's mouth watering . With the turnip greens and mac and cheese and banana pudding

This one I feel is definitely one of the better Clock restaurants. We usually see someone we know, either in passing or as someone on the staff, (Greer is not as big as you would think really.) The food is alright and they offer a variety of pretty much everything. Portions are great for the price. I like going to this one when in the mood, and in Greer. I have a cousin who lives in Pensacola Florida. And every time he comes to town, before he leaves to go home, he goes to this clock and orders a bunch of their really great hot dogs. He then takes them home with him to Florida and sticks them in the freezer, just so he has Clock hotdogs for a while. He says they are some of the best hotdogs and he cannot find any as good anywhere back home that even comes close to the Clocks hot dogs. I definitely suggest this restaurant!
Parking: There is some room to park, but if it is busy then the parking can get a bit scarce.

Ok, so let me start off by saying the only reason for 4 stars is Ruby, our server.
So it's been many years since I've been to a Clock restaurant. The last one I remember was when I was a kid, and it was considered a "greasy spoon." So we decided to try here based on recommendations and how busy it always is. I mean, how bad can it be, right?
Super busy! Since this was our first time there, we were unsure of the process but were told to just find a seat. Ruby was our server, and she was amazing. She was supposed to be off, but another server ended up not able to be there.
I wanted something light, so I opted for the club sandwich with the broccoli casserole. The club was really good. Not hard to mess that up. But the broccoli casserole...not so much. The broccoli was way overcooked and it just wasn't good at all.
My husband had the country fried steak, and it was just okay.
We started out with an appetizer of bacon and cheese fries. They were decent but nothing special. They were at least hot.
For somewhere that prides thereselves on freshness, this is not the place.
Ruby was awesome, but food just mediocre. I probably won't be back.

Lived here a long time and never tried a Clock before so why not now. The place was jumping, I figured with all this business it must be incredible. Unfortunately it's not. It's decent but nothing to write home about.
We got the bacon cheese fries which were pretty decent. I followed that up with the country fried steak with Mac and mashed potatoes. The Mac was almost dry, but I've had worse. Give the Mac 3/5. The mashed potatoes were real and were good. As for the country fried steak it was nothing special. I love country fried steak and if it's on your menu I'll try it.
The steak patty is your standard, probably frozen patty. I'm ok with that, but this place takes pride on how fresh their stuff is. That steak patty is not fresh and the gravy is ok. Nothing to see here folks.
The service was exceptional. Ruby was taking care of us. It was her day off, but she took very good care of us newbies who invaded the restaurant. Just wish the food was as good as Ruby's service. I'm glad I tried it, but I won't be back.

My only complaint is the drive thru speaker. I really wish the owner would invest in a new up to date speaker. It is the absolute worse and makes the ordering process stressful.

I really thought the meat and three would have been better but it just seem home cooked. But maybe I should have ate another choice.
The food was not great I was a little disappointed. Service was good and the atmosphere was good. Maybe because we are from out of town we didn't know what was best to order. the Mac and Cheese I had to keep dumping the grease off. And the fish my wife had was undercooked. The bread was not done on the inside. I would try it again and just order something different. The business is booming so they are doing something right.
