I hosted a holiday party at Crate last night with about 30 ladies and it was absolutely PERFECT! I cannot recommend them enough. I had worked with the manager, Serenity, for several weeks during the planning stage and she was incredible. I plan many events as a group coordinator and can tell you, she is extremely easy to work with and excellent in her craft. Everything from the food, cocktails, service, atmosphere was stellar! We plan to have our holiday party at Crate annually. Thank you Serenity and team!

I ordered the bourbon-glazed salmon, and it was phenomenal—perfectly cooked with a rich, flavorful glaze that was both sweet and savory. The real standout, though, were the collard greens. They were hands-down the best I’ve ever had: tender, well-seasoned, and bursting with flavor. If you’re in the area, Crate is a must-visit, whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just looking for great food. Can’t wait to come back!

What a hidden gem! This was our first time dining at Crate Restaurant & Wine Bar and it will not be the last. We came in for happy hour. The food!!!! Omg, My husband had the Fried Chicken Sliders and Cajun Pasta. I had the Lobster Mac & Cheese. We wanted a rum cocktail and the manager came from the kitchen, took off her apron, and made the best hurricane I have ever had!!!! Made me feel like I was on Bourbon Street. She gifted us bread pudding for dessert and I when I say the best I ever had. This place should be packed out with a line out the door.

The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed yet refined evening. We met the new chef, Serenity. She was kind and welcoming and has phenomenal gifts in the kitchen.
For appetizers, I tried the lobster sliders, and they were incredible—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. For my main course, I had the shrimp and grits, which were cooked to perfection. The creamy grits paired beautifully with the juicy shrimp, and the dish was full of bold Southern flavors.
My dining companion had the lobster mac & cheese, which featured a large split lobster tail that was fried and placed on top of the rich, creamy mac and cheese. The lobster was tender and plentiful, adding an extra level of indulgence to the dish.
The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful dining experience. Overall, Crate Restaurant and Wine Bar exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to returning soon! Definitely a new Favorite

I enjoyed an espresso martini alongside the shrimp and geechie grits, and both were amazing. It was a bit dark in the restaurant for my liking and no phone reception, but otherwise nice place.
