El Paisa Bakery is a typical old skool Colombian bakery, possibly the best Colombian spot in the Upstate. The atmosphere is welcoming and the restaurant is clean. The service is wonderful, polite, and helpful, with staff giving samples and a helpful rundown on each item. The quality of the food and the service are unmatched. The food is good, delicious, excellent, and full of flavor, with everything being muy rico. Specific items praised include the mini paisa, the Bandeja Paisa with its huge proportions, beef filled potatoes, chicken empanada, empanadas with a perfect crunchy exterior, fried mozzarella stick, oven fried cheese ball, guava & cheese, and nutella. They also have great hot chocolate, coffee, and freshly made fruit juices, along with amazing spicy and pink sauces. The prices are great, making it a great spot for a grab and go. Customers plan to keep coming back.
