Great food served by wonderful staff in a great atmosphere. We brought along our two year old and everyone was fantastic with her. We'll definitely be back!

Delicious food and dessert! Started with Lobster Bisque. Everyone enjoyed their entree flight with wine flight. We ended with the creme brulee flight...everything was delicious! Enjoyed meeting the owner/chef who checks in with you. Looking forward to trying other options and attending events!

I can’t wait to return to House 509 Bistro and Wine Bar! The food was amazing. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was just as exquisite as the food. I highly recommend this restaurant!

An excellent meal every time. The flight entrees are a fun way to eat, and I haven’t had a single dish that I didn’t like. Chef clearly is passionate about his craft. They offer seasonal tasting menus with wine pairings, and while I’m not really a “wine person,” I’ve enjoyed every recommended pairing. They clearly put a lot of thought into the tasting menus and wine pairings.

A True Gem in Greenville!

After moving to Greenville from Los Angeles last year, my husband and I have been on a quest to find restaurants that live up to the incredible dining experiences we had in LA. This place truly exceeded our expectations.

The menu is a delightful mix of innovative dishes and comforting classics, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We were particularly impressed with the attention to detail in every dish, from the perfect seasoning to the beautiful presentation. It’s clear that the chef takes great pride in his work.

The service was impeccable. We were also pleased to find a well-curated wine list that paired beautifully with our meal.

This restaurant has become one of our favorite spots in Greenville. Whether you’re new to the area like us or a longtime local, this place is a must-visit. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

This was THE best meal I have eaten to date and everyone was well trained. The service was top notch, not too invasive/frequent, but we never had to flag someone for a refill, etc.

The chef came by and shared the stories behind my dishes, The House 509 flight, and provided me wonderful information and an amazing experience.

I have NOT stopped recommending this place to everyone I talk food around!

It is not cheap, but the quality and quantity match and the value is there!

I can’t wait to return and try more dishes! My husband and I both thought we didn’t like crème brûlée, but apparently we’ve just never had a good one!

There’s a picture perfect spot under the Peachoid in Gaffney if you want a new location ?

Let me start by saying that PRIVATE EVENTS HERE ARE AN ABSOLUTE MUST-DO!!
My husband and I had the most incredible and intimate wedding reception here. We had a very small reception and the restaurant was perfect size for our group (we had 22). Chef G and his wife, Jessica went above and beyond to make this event absolutely beyond our expectations! The food was EXQUISITE and so delicious, the staff was attentive and professional, and Chef and Jessica outdid themselves. I worked with Chef to create the menu off of their current offerings and he made great suggestions for beverage options (including a delicious white pilot noir!). There was so much thought, creativity and expertise put into the event. My husband and I are from out of town and this was our first experience with House 509 Bistro. Without hesitation we will be back to celebrate our anniversaries here and are so grateful we found this fabulous establishment! Every single guest (even the kids and picky eaters) was astounded at how perfectly everything was prepared and how delicious it was- melt in your mouth perfection! Not to mention the excellent desserts- all to die for! Chef was also very helpful to create appropriate offerings for the 3 kiddos in attendance (all under the age of 4) and they enjoyed their meals too. His team are all incredibly talented professionals who executed this event with obvious skill and expertise. Chef and his team poured their heart and soul into creating this amazing experience and my husband and I are forever grateful. If you're looking for the perfect place for a romantic, intimate, upscale, and delicious event, look no further!
Chef and Jessica, thank you and your team- I'd give you a million star review if I could!

The food is next level! Fresh ingredients prepared with French influenced techniques. Served flight style with accompanying wine flights ❤️ Very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service combined with intimate atmosphere was on point.
We were already talking about what we're going to have next time before we were even home. Did I mention dessert flights....but I got the Ube Cheesecake (by the way, fresh picked blackberries from the chefs garden ?). It was so good I got another one to go ?

Pictured here is the 509 flight. Don't sleep on the coq au vin. So tender you might think you're eating a pot roast. Also the sea bass is great and we also had the Mediterranean muscles which were amazing as an appetizer. Also in photo is the bold California wine flight...yum!

Where do I begin? The attention to detail when it comes to the flavor combinations is unmatched. The Head Chef/Owner, Chef G, was our server as well tonight. It’s clear that this is his passion. His customer service was perfect. He explained the menu to us, and made incredible recommendations. I’ve not been the best planner when it comes to special occasions throughout my marriage, but with the help of Chef G and House 509, I knocked this year out of the park. Thank you, Chef G, for the wonderful dinner we were able to experience at your fine establishment.

Dietary restrictions: Much of the menu is gluten free but that only helps me a little. I need low fodmap foods and they did leave onions and garlic out of my meal. But made no effort to replace the sauces with anything else. This made my meal very flat. This is understandable.
Now for the real problem, the expense. We paid $130 for our meal for two. The meals are served as flights which means very small portions of food. For $130, we were each served 3 tiny portions. No vegetables, no bread, no salad. My husband is tall and slim. He does not eat alot. I gave him half my meal because I barely eat anything. The poor guy was still hungry. This is not the place to go for dinner. It appears to be a wine bar.
