We had our granddaughters Christening Party here last weekend and I just want to say it was absolutely perfect!!! The restaurant is gorgeous! Everything was set up so beautiful. The servers were amazing and Chef G and his wife Jessica are the best. They truly care and want to make your experience a memorable one! Now for the food. Delicious!!!!! Everything we had was unbelievable!!! This is the best restaurant in Greer!!! Thank you again for making this special day just perfect!!!!

Had the most decadent experience; between the absolutely delicious Maui mahi, to the tasteful Sausage penne. Even the fillet mignon in a cream sauce had my mouth watering. All 3 came with its own wine which paired perfectly. My waitress was delightful and Chef G conquered everything I’d hoped for the dinner experience. Both whom made my night end with a smile. Thank you, I’ll most definitely be back soon.

What a spectacular dinner experience! The entree flights were an amazing concept and exceptionally delicious and well prepared. Dessert and wine flight pairings were also superb! Beer options also available for the non-wine drinkers. The flavor profiles, excellent service and ambiance were top notch overall. The chef/owner was extremely friendly. He checked in on us at least a couple of times and served champagne and cake pop on the house. Highly recommend this gem!

Fantastic first time experience at House 509 Bistro! We were staying in downtown Greenville and well worth the 30 min drive for this unique dining destination. The baked Brie appetizer was great and we had the coastal and ONV flights and a great bottle of wine. Wait staff was fantastic and chef G came out several times to check how our meal was and chat with us, such a personal person. Highly recommend, share the word !!

Every dish was exceptional. We had mussels, lobster bisque, the Pasta Flight, the Shrimp and Grits flight , the Coastal Flight and the 509 House flight. I wish we had had room for dessert. The service and food delivery was perfectly timed. Just an amazing meal.

Was recommended this place last week and we decided to go tonight. I must say; it was amazing! The dishes are all flight style, so you get to try a few different things for your entree. The service was excellent and the food was even better. The chef came out to our table several times to make sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be back!!! Just go and support the great place!!

I can't rave enough about the service and food. I got the filet flight. Every filet had a different flavor. None disappointed. My man got the house flight. He did not leave a crumb on his plate. Waitress helped us pick a wine that we would both enjoy. I can't wait to go back.Dietary restrictions: Chef came out personally to ask what he could replace blue cheese with due to diet restrictions.

Went there tonight for an early Valentines Day dinner. Service was excellent (very personable), food fresh/outstanding, and even the Chef/owners came to our table to make sure they could accommodate some dietary restrictions. We will definitely be frequent flyers!

My husband and I went to eat for our wedding anniversary. The wait staff and chef truly appeared to enjoy working together and even made a point of coming to our table tocongratulate us. The wait staff knew the food well and how to pair the wine with our meal. The food is well worth the price. Baked brie and cheese cake were fabulous! Needless to say, we left feeling stuffed. The only recommendation would be to maybe place something on the glass windows to create a bit of intimate atmosphere before the sun goes down

Such a great experience!! This is a really neat flight style restaurant where all the food is in perfectly portioned flights which offers variety and is the perfect portion to make a full dinner - just the right amount of food between the 3 dishes of each flight. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a very nice and accomplished chef who came by to check on our table a couple of times which was a great touch. He trained in the Caribbean and France and that comes through in his dishes!! It's beer and wine only with a great wine list. We tried wine flights (all delicious and paired well with dishes). Our group tried the sea bass, pasta, chicken and steak and everyone enjoyed all their dishes! My shrimp and grits flight was phenomenal with 3 unique and different styles, low country, creole and bbq shrimp- couldn't decide which was my favorite. We ended with a delicious crème brûlée dessert flight which was the perfect ending. The restaurant is small and quaint with a great ambiance, definitely recommend reservations due to smaller size. There's even a drop in child care spot right next door (little me) that they've partnered with in the past so parents can have their date night next door- perfect!! Definitely will go back.

Every single bite was outstanding. I loved the creative options and everything had so much flavor. I had the House 509 flight. Everything was cooked to perfection. The chef was so kind and our waitress was obviously well-trained. Reece's cake and creme brulee topped off a perfect dinner. Yes it's pricey but the quality made it worth it.

If you haven’t been here, do yourself a favor and go.I am sure the regular menu will not disappoint since Chef G features meal flights which allow you to try several of his beautifully composed dishes. It is perfect for someone like me who wants to try everything on menus. However, I highly recommend going when they have a prix fixe meal and wine pairing. The sommelier and chef work in perfect concert together to create an experience for each course.I had the absolute pleasure of attending the 7 Course French Christmas Dinner and wine pairing this year, and it was an exquisite intimate culinary experience. The table setting was stunning. The Chef shared stories behind each dish, and the way the sommelier detailed the wine selection elevated each pairing.I am so impressed with the food and wine, but the shining light here is the staff. They are kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly have a passion for what they do.

So many good things to say, the food was awesome and great service. We love going out to eat in finding really good restaurants this one's definitely going to be on our list to visit on a regular basis. My only two comments, one, they need to turn the lights down there's no reason to have that wonderful romantic atmosphere and the lights all the way up. my other comment would be it's a little pricey

Absolutely Delicious! A place like House 509 focuses on enjoying every bite and making eating a glorious (not stuffing, "ugh" ) experience. I am tired of the "Big Plate" slop so many restaurants focus on and confuse quantity with quality. The creativity, also, makes this professional meal different from last 100 you had. This place makes dining exciting again! And Chef Guichard is so friendly and full of passion.
