Went for the fishing, found a new favorite spot and a friend in the owner! Recently moved and we’ve been looking for a new fishing spot. We found it! Food was phenomenal. We got the pitmaster fries and it was enough to share between 5 of us. Highly recommend! Owner came out near the end of our trip and kicked up a conversation with us. It was like speaking with an old friend. These are good people!

Went here for the first time and could smell the smoke from the road! Especially since I missed my turn because Hurricane Helene knocked down the sign! I was a little nervous pulling up as I was not familiar with the area. Anyway, I could see the smokehouse as I walked up to the restaurant, which was a good sign of things to come. We were greeted as soon as we came in and introduced to the owner. My wife and I laughed and conversed with him for about 10 minutes before we ordered. I ordered wings and sausage with fried okra. My wife ordered ribs and wings with smoke mac n cheese and sweet potato soufflé. I can tell you now that this place is legit with its bbq. My wife didn’t add any sauce to her ribs! The sweet tea was so good that I kept refilling it and was barely able to eat! We sat next to an older couple and chopped it up with them for a bit. Then the owner brought us his version of shrimp and grits with smoked brisket and it was the bomb! So if you’re a true bbq person, you have to stop here and give it a try!
My family ate here for the first time today. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. It's a very laid back and tucked away gem. The portions are very generous.

The most quaint hidden gem! True southern charm and hospitality. Food was all great, came out fast and is affordable. Staff are exceptionally sweet. The lake is a nice touch.
This little gem is a must try. Service as friendly as can be. The shrimp and grits were outstanding and loaded with pulled pork, shrimp, and burnt ends, which had me tapping out. The wife's queso burger is equally outstanding. We'll be back, once I take a nap ?

Do not expect a fancy facility. I enjoyed the atmosphere, they will please you with their food and prices. I ordered the burger topped with slices of brisket. It's very tasty and be aware the burger is 1/2 lb. of great tasting meat. Also, it is topped with cheese, fried dill pickles, and onion rings. I had the loaded beans for my side with sweet tea. I will need to come back next Friday. They have a catfish special! There is a lot on their menu. And you get more food than expected, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I will be back!

JT's Shrimp and Grits are legit! I ordered a side of collards to throw on top and it added a nice additional level of flavor. Had plenty for the next day and switched it up a little by adding red bell pepper and tomatoes from my garden, garlic and topped it off with spring onions and an egg over easy. JT - feel free to use these as additional topping ideas, LOL!

They have great food and the best service! A nice small hidden local place with a private fishing pond that's available to fish at with fishing shelters all around it. I haven't tried the fishing here yet but I did try the restaurant and this is a great little place and everything made to order and made fresh and you can just tell the homemade quality! I will be coming here a lot more often and there's so much more I will try off the menu.
