Went for the fishing, found a new favorite spot and a friend in the owner! Recently moved and we’ve been looking for a new fishing spot. We found it! Food was phenomenal. We got the pitmaster fries and it was enough to share between 5 of us. Highly recommend! Owner came out near the end of our trip and kicked up a conversation with us. It was like speaking with an old friend. These are good people!
Went here for the first time and could smell the smoke from the road! Especially since I missed my turn because Hurricane Helene knocked down the sign! I was a little nervous pulling up as I was not familiar with the area. Anyway, I could see the smokehouse as I walked up to the restaurant, which was a good sign of things to come. We were greeted as soon as we came in and introduced to the owner. My wife and I laughed and conversed with him for about 10 minutes before we ordered....
