The bad:*Our food arrived 1 hour and 30 minutes after we were first seated. With 2 little kids, that was an adventure.*As mentioned by another reviewer, a lady chunked her drink and stormed out probably an hour before our food arrived. I guess her wait time sent her over the edge lol.The good:*Our server was the sweetest. She loved on our kids and tried to encourage us throughout the long wait. We had her as our server a year ago when we visited and were glad to see her again.*The seated salad bar (where you can select from what must be 30+ toppings) is awesome.*Being next to the river is cool and the kids enjoyed walking down to see it after our marathon meal.Neutral:*The food. The fried items were a bit too greasy but tasted good. The kids’ nuggets were home made and looked good. All in all, you’re never gonna enjoy waiting 90 minutes for your food or seeing another patron lose her mind and make a scene, but hey it was a memorable night.

First time visit was about a month ago and had a great Burger, it was very tasty. Came back for the second time today and was very let down with the food. The quality was subpar and if I had to guess, there was an inexperienced cook in the kitchen. The service was terrific both visits.

Let me start by saying I really went in tonight hoping it was back to the level it was when I was a kid. I wanted it to be great again. It wasn't. There was a lady who was so angry she threw her drink at the wall and stormed out cussing that she'd just wanted her food.By the time we left, we weren't as mad as her but we were really unhappy. The food took way longer than it should have. The portions on the popcorn shrimp and potato skins were great while the portions on the fish and chips and fried oysters were skimpy for the prices. The potato skins tasted like they'd been cooked in vegetable oil instead... And maybe old oil at that. It was definitely a weird taste for those. The "signature" potatoes were from a box and a small portion for that to be the only side. Crab cakes were good according to our kids but they were really dark. Our waitress was nice but we had to ask multiple times for everything, from refills to sauce to silverware. We were literally sitting there waiting to eat for five minutes because we had no silverware. The sign at the door (pictured) should have been a clue it wasn't going to go well. I do not ever expect people to be mean to a server but I do think it indicates that there are consistent problems if you have to put up a sign. At some point, it's time to look at training the staff better.Note: we did see several servers coming and going with their tables at a much faster rate than oursFor a tea, a soda, two waters, the oyster dinner, potato skins app, and seafood platter (3 types of seafood)-- it was $75 before tip. There was a $2.70ish credit card fee too which is the highest fee I've ever seen for paying with a card.I was really sad because I have such fond memories of that place growing up but it seems that won't be the same for my kids.We will not be back.

This was a fantastic steakhouse years ago, so we thought we would try it now. It is obviously not a steak house any longer. Service was great but the food was subpar. I had the ribeye, it was just ok and very bland. My wife had the Filet tips and as mentioned in previous reviews they were overcooked. She ordered medium and got well done and crunchy. I found the menu to be ok for bar food but lacking for a restaurant. Seated salad bar is pretty good, but could have been better if we had fixed our own. Menu has very scarce selections that are not potatoes or fried items for sides. We spent 100 bucks for two and that was just way over priced for what we got. We will skip this one next time.

Excellent service but Disappointed with the food. First time eating there after new owners took over. Appetizer of hush puppies were re-fried/overcooked/greasy and looked burnt. The garlic mashed potatoes were swimming in butter, while the steak tips were bland and tough. A (half a) glass of wine is overpriced at $10. My husband's ribeye was sad-looking; no color, flavor and miniature for the price. The last time we went the steaks were thick, juicy, flavorful and grilled to perfection. Baked potato was overcooked/dry. We ate it because we NEVER send back food. The salad was great, same as before. Server received well-deserved tip for her great service. Hoping they'll improve the food.

First time visiting this restaurant since new management took over. The service our waitress provided was outstanding as we had a party of 12. The food at the restaurant was lacking to say the least. The portions were extremely small for the amount of money we had to pay. Several food items were ice cold when they should have been served hot. There were also several items overcooked and dry. Will definitely not be visiting this place again.

It’s not what you expected the food could need more flavor and probably need to change their menu and it's over-priced. Other then that my chicken and waffles are all right. My husband has had meatloaf and he didn't enjoy it. He was kinda Disappointed.

Not awful but pretty close. Had to have the bacon cooked a second time since someone doesn't know what crisp is and then it was tasteless. Sad protions. They need to hire more servers and cooks. Took forever to get the order placed and then another 20 minutes to get the food...add another 10 minutes to have the bacon cooked a second time. Then putting an upcharge on getting potatoes or grits is crazy. I'll stick with Waffle House.

Service was stellar! It's a cute restaurant, it looks like a nice place to go on a hot summer day. Food was good, they had no problem with slight customization.

We got takeout for dinner and the food was great. My wife enjoyed the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and I had the meatloaf. I would dine here again.
