Good old fashioned country cooking great service breakfast lunch dinner is awesome if you like meeting trees a highly recommended eating hear for lunch breakfast and dinner can't go wrong at Peggy's
My Husband and I just popped into Peggys Diner on our way to NC. We were greeted by a very funny gentleman who made me laugh and invited us to sit wherever we liked. The very sweet server greeted us and we placed our order which was the special of the day. The fried chicken 🍗 and hushpupies were delicious and flavorful!! My Husband had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes 🥔 and it was really wonderful and delicious. It was truly a wonderful find and we will definitely be back the next time we drive through town.
The best breakfast I've had in quite some time

It may not be the prettiest place, but the good is decent and the staff are very friendly. I have only been for breakfast but I see a lot of locals hanging out here.

Who is giving this place 4 and 5 star reviews!? This is the type of place you only go because you've been coming for 50 years and you meet your other senior friends there.
The food is completely mediocre. Ambiance is like an old VFW hall or something. Nobody came over to see how my food was or clear anything while eating.
I got pancakes, eggs and a biscuit. Pancakes were quite good and eggs are eggs. The biscuit was room temperature and crumbly.
Coffee was a bit weak but I typically like that anyway.
And they don't have butter here. I really have a hard time with breakfast places that don't offer real butter and just have that margarine poison.
Great southern, country breakfast
Great Food, Friendly Service and clean tables! This is a great local breakfast spot at reasonable prices.
It was so cold in there, couldn't enjoy our food
I have eaten here over 30 years, and never had a meal that was not absolutely delicious.
