First of all Mercedes was excellent helpful and informative! The atmosphere was a little dark but cozy and nice (it’s always a little Loud but this evening it was good) My wife got the Salmon and she really Enjoyed it. The veggies were great and the fish tasted fresh.
I on the other hand got a Rueben that form$4’woild have been pretty good for $8 would have been passible for $16 i would have been unhappy and for $33 I’m almost mad!
The meat was dry the saur kraut had no flavor the special thousand island may as well not have been there. The Swiss was good.. the rye bread was not very good either… I’m disappointed and I won’t get the Rueben again!

Today was our first visit to Select—not for lack of trying! Every time we’ve attempted to go, it’s been fully booked at the times we needed. This time, we finally made it for brunch with family visiting from Florida, and it was absolutely worth the wait.
Everything we ate was exceptional, and the service was just as impressive. Our waitress, Lillie, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and full of great suggestions that made our meals even better.
We’ll definitely be back, and next time we’ll be sure to make a reservation well in advance. Now we understand why Select is always booked!
One last thing—I had the Curmudgeon Goat Omelette, and I can honestly say it’s the best omelette I’ve had in all of my 60 years. Truly unforgettable.

We LOVE Select Restaurant in Greer. We have always had a wonderful dining experience which led us to choose to celebrate our 30 Year Wedding Anniversary. They reserved our favorite table which is situated in a spot away from everyone but in front of a window which provides a sweet view of Downtown Greer. Our waitress was so attentive and truly entered into our spirit of celebration. She served us in a way that truly led to our leasure. A beautiful break from lifevthat normally is rushed. Our meal was prepared perfectly from appetizer to dessert. SELECT allowed us to have one of the best memorable anniversaries. Actually, we plan to try to repeat it on our next excuse to celebrate..I highly recommend Select to everyone..whether you are celebrating a special day or simply want to make a day to celebrate..

I dined there at least three times the last few months, The food always good. The ambiance always loud. Must make a reservation especially on the weekend. One major problem though: the cocktails: Only one bar tender can prepare the good (and proper drink) and of-course the signature $32 old fashioned. Her name is Adrielle ...if she is not working that day (like on Tuesday) I do not recommend ordering any cocktails. I will assure you will be disappointed. I did myself, when I did not pay attention who was preparing the drinks. Service always friendly courteous and extremely fast. Rachel always wonderful. 5 stars for food. 2 stars for cocktails that specific days (5 with the proper bar tender)

This was our first time visiting SELECT restaurant and we felt well cared for upon arrival. We were met with warm smiles and kind hospitalities at the door. We enjoyed steadfast service and attention to our questions. Our server went into great detail when recommending the specials as well as popular dishe s. She even accommodated our two sons with excellent alternates not listed on the menu. My first and instant favorite is the Tuscan Fillet and my wife enjoyed the New York New York Pot Roast. My third son enjoyed the Uptown Sirloin. Each was delicious with individual flavorful expression which made our 14th Anniversary dinner a memorable experience! A treasure of a place! Thank you!

This place gets more credit than it should. The atmosphere is nice, and people really seem to like the food here, I just don’t understand why. Not only is the service average, but the food is seriously overpriced for the average taste and quality. I’ve had dinner here 2x and it’ll be my last. The food was subpar both times and my tabs were well over $250 each visit. Save your money and go somewhere else.
I had the chicken fried chicken over roasted garlic mashed potatoes and MY GOODNESS! The sausage gravy was perfect, the chicken was crispy, juicy and well seasoned. 10000/10, would recommend! Great food + drinks, great service & great atmosphere!

I don’t write reviews very often and this is the first time I have written a review and posted it to both OpenTable and Google. I must also point out that I am NOT a ringer and, prior to my visit, had never heard of Select.
My overall experience was nothing short of exceptional. The service, from the hostess who greeted me, to the host who seated me, to my server and even to the owner who checked in with me was excellent. Everyone was friendly and genuine and made me feel like they’d be just as happy to join me for a beer and good conversation. My server seemed a little busy, but he was engaging and attentive and made solid, balanced food recommendations when asked.
The food was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. I had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. They were piping hot when they arrived at my table. The flavor was rich. I’d not seen fried green tomatoes prepared this way in the past and they were excellent. At the recommendation of my server, I had the salmon. The fillet was full, thick and perfectly cooked (in the past I have noticed that thick salmon fillets tend to get over cooked). It came with a spa-like topping and zucchini squash. Both of these had separate and distinct flavors that worked well either alone or with a bite of salmon.
For dessert I had the crème brulee. It was warm on top and at the same time light and deliciously rich.
Honestly, this ranks as one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I would drive well out of my way to eat here again the next time I am nearby.
Oh, and yes, the pricey Old Fashioned is well worth it!

I moved here from Fayetteville NC, there isn’t any restaurants like this located there. The waitress was very attentive and her conversation was short but meaningful. I ordered the pot roast with peas and potatoes. The pot roast was a 10, the potatoes that came with the entree were a little off and unexpected. These potatoes were a combination of sweet and regular potatoes. However the potatoes were tasty. I should have ordered mash potatoes. Now don’t worry, cuz if you like the cut potatoes these were ok, but would have rather had mashed potatoes. My fault, I should have paid attention. I look forward to returning to this establishment knowing that I will leave fullfilled.
