Spent 20 minutes in the drive thru with zero communication from the staff about why my food was taking so long. I got chicken strips and French fries. I hardly see why that's so hard when there is nobody else in the drive thru.

Ordered through the mobile app and was the only one in the parking lot. Waited 20 minutes for my order and that was only because I stopped a carhop. Others that ordered over the intercoms got their food before me! The food was good, but the wait was too long.

I stop by Sonic on my way home sometimes. I always get one thing, which is just a sonic blast, and it always comes to $6.04. I give the server $10.04. Today, I stopped at about 5:15 and it was not very busy. I ordered over the intercom, the person on the other end asked if that was all I was going to order and I said yes. I sat there for roughly 40 minutes, people were driving in, receiving their food and still I sat. So, I pressed the intercom and told them to cancel my order and I left.

Brought a coupon. Said we can’t use it even though it is a valid coupon. Said they already scanned the receipt? That does not make any sense, and did not give us a refund for what was stated on the coupon.

I got a buy 2 get one free snack deal with a corn dog, small onion rings (actual rings, not chopped) and a 4 pc mozzarella sticks.
It was easy to order on the app and my food was delivered quickly by a friendly young woman. I appreciate that sauces don't cost extra and Sonic frequently has great deals and fun new items on their menu. My orders are always correct and even if the delivery is a bit slower on some visits during busy periods, the staff members always apologize for the delay and are very pleasant. Everyone who works at this location is doing a great job on every level of food preparation and customer service.

Edit to review - Original review was in peak-COVID. I went back much later, the food was fresh and the service was fast. A lot of improvements have been made and I think it's worth an updated/edited review to 4 stars.

A girl working the drive through window doesn't wear a mask. It makes me think they are not following other health and safety procedures.

I generally only go to Sonic for a cherry slush. Lately though, their slushie machine has rivaled McDonald's McFlurry machine. In other words, it has been broken a lot. When it is working though, my slushie is either really yummy or it hasn't been mixed Yes, I could mix it myself, but that isn't the easiest thing to do in the car. Customer service is hit and miss.
