The first time I went to speedball was during lunch, rush-hour with the girlfriend, and the food was divine. The owner was so kind to walk me through each item including the spicy chicken I added to my build your own speed bowl and gave me reassurance that the ball would be as delicious as advertised. It was! Of course I had to come back during lunch to get the food to go just to see if it was a one time but fresh lunch. Everything was fresh to order, including my dumplings that were perfectly cooked packed with so much flavor. I even loved the presentation as this was a to go order and it felt like there was so much attention to detail. This time I tried the pork, which was absolutely perfectly moist and seasoned to a tea to pair with my other toppings in my bowl. If you're looking for fresh simple food, and a sensory trip, be sure to stop by Speed Bowl. Simpsonville needs to be the next location!

Start off with the positives. The food was okay and fresh...The location is close ...Seemed clean inside. The negatives...The portion to price ratio was not cost effective at all..It looked like a lot but for close to $19 takeout, there was no leftovers. Probably wouldn't eat here again.If money is no object it is okay.

We dined here for Date Day lunch, mainly attracted here because we wanted Korean, Speed Bowl has a high rating, and we wanted to try a place we hadn't been to before. We were not disappointed. The owners, male and female couple doing the cooking, were eager to help us navigate the menu.We both wanted build your own bibimbap bowls. I had a beef bowl and my wife had a chicken bowl. The female owner explained the Bibim is a mixture of grilled meats and bap is rice (I think). There are many add-ons available--veggies, including kimchi. I usually think more is better, and they all sounded like they would be good additions, so I added all of them. Which of the seven sauces did I want. I had 3 sauces on the side.Everything was made to order and absolutely fresh, hot and delicious.We will definitely return. I hope this place gets supported by the community. It deserves support. For the cost of a meal at Burger King/Hardees you could have a fresh made, delicious Speed Bowl meal, So much more healthy too!
