I’ve been a loyal customer of the Starbucks on Highway 101 for quite some time, regularly stopping by for both personal and business orders. Unfortunately, my most recent visit left me extremely disappointed with the service and the lack of professionalism shown by both staff and management.
During my drive thru visit, I began placing my order and, after listing the first item, the young lady taking my order responded with a quick, “OK, have a great day.” I was taken aback and said, “I’m not done ordering yet.” Instead of apologizing or showing understanding, she responded with a dismissive, “Well, can I get you anything else?” Her tone felt unprofessional and rude, and I immediately expressed my discomfort by saying, “That was rude.” She then shot back with, “Well, are you getting anything else?” I did not continue with my order due to the off putting interaction, I simply replied “No”.
When I reached the window to pay, I asked if the young lady was the one who took my order. She confirmed, and I respectfully let her know that her behavior had been unprofessional. Instead of acknowledging my concern, she simply said, “OK,” and proceeded to tell me the total for my order.
At this point, I requested to speak with a manager. Nate, the manager on duty, came over. I began to explain the situation to him, but he interrupted me, saying, “That’s just how we do things here.” I tried to explain that while I understand every store has its own way of doing things, that didn’t justify rude behavior. Nate’s response was dismissive; he said, “I didn’t hear anything wrong on the mic,” and then suggested there might have been additional conversations happening during my order. He didn’t seem genuinely interested in hearing my side of the story or addressing my concerns.
Instead of offering an apology or showing empathy, Nate continued to downplay the situation, saying, “That’s how we do things.” This response only frustrated me more, as it felt like my concerns were being dismissed outright. After trying to explain that good customer service is about more than simply fulfilling an order, I felt like Nate wasn’t interested in addressing the issue in any meaningful way.
As a customer who regularly buys in bulk for two offices in the area, I’ve never experienced such a lack of professionalism at this location. While I understand that everyone has off days, the unwillingness to even acknowledge the issue or offer an apology was truly disappointing.
Nate then offered to provide me with the store manager’s contact information. When he returned to the window, I took a photo of him. It was not out of spite, but because I believe that disrespectful behavior should be acknowledged, and sometimes a face should be associated with such actions.
I hope this feedback will be taken seriously. Customer service is key to a positive experience, and this visit certainly didn’t meet the standards I’ve come to expect from Starbucks. I’ll be reconsidering my future visits.

I'm not sure if this location just doesn't know how to make the pecan crunch iced latte. That was one of the nastiest coffees I had.

stopped at this Starbucks while I was driving from NC to visit a friend, and it was honestly one of the worst coffee shop experiences I’ve ever had. Walked in and nobody said a word — not even a “hey” or “we’ll be right with you.” Just folks behind the counter cussing loud like they was at home, not at work. The girl who took my order (think her name was Abby) had this heavy brow and blank stare, real cavewoman vibes — like she just learned what fire was yesterday. Didn’t greet me, barely looked at me, and acted like I was messing up her day just by ordering. Whole vibe was off — rude, messy, and unprofessional. Unless you like bad coffee and worse service from people who look like they crawled out a cave, I’d keep it pushin

Wish I could give a zero star but I can’t lol. Found stands of literal hair melted into my cheese danish and I’m absolutely horrified. This place is extremely unhygienic. It wasn’t even one strand of hair, it was multiple… never in a million years coming back, don’t go here!!

This is a nice location, but every single time I come to this location, they ALWAYS get my order wrong, even as simple as a strawberry acai. If they don’t make the wrong order, then they make it wrong and not how it should be. Wouldn’t suggest.

I’ll always remember this Starbucks! I had a quick stop here on my way to Greensboro for a virtual call, and I treated myself to a delicious sandwich and coffee. A few days later, I realized I couldn't find my Apple AirPods, so I called the store to check if they might have them. Brady was super helpful on the phone and confirmed they had my AirPods! On my way back to Georgia, I made sure to stop by and pick them up, and I enjoyed another great meal there. Thanks a bunch!
