The food was good. Got the filet mignon fajitas. They were good just not a lot of meat.
Queso was good. They also had a good selection on the kids menu.

This was my first trip to Tipsy Taco, the food and service were excellent. Hannah took the time to serve us so personally! She was charming, funny, guided us through the menu. Thank you for a great night Hannah! Cant wait for our 100% guaranteed return and hope we meet Hannah again.

This place is not a Mexican restaurant, it is Americanized Mexican food, Spanish rice from a box, rice was hard, enchiladas come with no sauce, the chicken and beef enchiladas taste like grilled chicken and hamburger in an uncooked flour tortilla. The service is great but if you want authentic Mexican I suggest you go elsewhere.

We ate at Tipsy Taco this past Saturday. Tate sat us and took our drink order and delivered the best service we’ve probably ever had. Attentive, kind, and SO funny. We followed her recommendations and they absolutely hit the spot. We’re from Georgia and will be coming back ASAP to hopefully have Tate as our server again and eat some AMAZING tacos. Will be recommending Tipsy Taco to everyone from now on!

I wanted really badly to love this place as we pass by it all the time since moving from NC to SC.

To all the reviews I read of people complaining about the price, they obviously haven’t eaten out anywhere lately… we had drinks, appetizer and tacos, total was $67. That is in line with everywhere we normally eat so the prices are good.

Sarah was our waitress and she did an awesome job and was very attentive to us the whole time we were here. Drinks were very good and ample sized.

3 stars isn’t fair, but 4 wasn’t earned either. They get a strong 3.5.

Atmosphere was good, not really busy but it was a Sunday night on Memorial Day weekend.

The food… we started with chips, guacamole, salsa and cheese dip. It was good, just really kind of bland. No big bold flavors like we expected. Chips were okay, not great. Dips were okay, not great. Salt and pepper people. Not everybody likes their stuff the same way, but it needs to be seasoned correctly regardless.

Tacos were decent, again not a ton of flavor. We had the bang, bang shrimp taco, old school taco, al pastor, GVL steak and chicken coop. All had good flavor, just nothing crazy good. Don’t get we wrong, they were good, just not crazy good.

All in all, I would rate it a 7 out of 10.

It deserves a visit, just don’t expect superb. Good food at a decent price and a great atmosphere.

Went for my birthday, ordered tacos recommended by server, who was excellent, Dorothy, the best! Anyhow, you don't get chips and salsa!! A big no in my opinion. You get very thin, crumbly chips only if you buy a condiment (gauc, queso, salsa, etc). That was a big turnoff for all of us. The tacos were fairly expensive, a basic 4.10 and up each. The bougouli taco is fabulous flavors and stuffed full. Best thing we all agreed on. The gauc had a huge part of an avocado still in it, not mixed well and no great flavor. But worst was our food came out cold. We weren't happy, especially combo plates and tacos. Waitress let Mgr know, he comped the dip price...lol. Anyhow, places that charge $15 or more per lunch better be on point. Debating about another try.......

The food had good flavor, but it's also more pricey than the other Mexican food alternatives. (Ours came out cold also, but the manager made it up to us). The Seoul taco is great! Our server Dorathy was absolutely amazing. She was the best server I've had in the last few years, in several states.

My only complaints are the price, the food coming out cold, and you don't get free chips and salsa like in nearly every other Mexican restaurant. Great flavors, great services, keep it up.

We order from this location once or twice a month and pick-up our food to eat at home. Unfortunately, more often than not, when I look through the bag and check the order, I find something is not right. The sauces are not on the side, as requested, items are added that were not requested or whole meals are missing. The food is ok, but be careful to make sure check your orders. The attention to details is not 4 star.
Also, and specifically, for the first time last evening we tried the sopapillas. These are not sopapillas, these are flour tortillas cut in quarters and deep fried like a chip. We lived on the US-Mexico border for 30 years and sopapillas should be a slightly different texture and taste, sweeter. If they created the dough that way they would not have to drowned them in chocolate and syrup.
