We had sushi, curry and an appetizer. Delicious. The sushi is packed with flavor. The curry is so savory I saved some for lunch tomorrow and we tried baby octopus. If you close your eyes it’s worth it. The experience here was therapy for my taste buds.

The flavor palet is boring. Nothing pops. All the food has a mild flavor. The miso is weak, the spicy tuna is bland. Chicken teryaki was gooey and not silky ( too much corn starch). It's ok but not a place you go twice.

Had lunch here recently. We both had the lunch basket which is an excellent deal. You get a soup and a salad and a great plate, just see the picture attached. The service was very efficient and friendly and the food tasted great. The price was very reasonable. I definitely will be back when in the area.

I like the pork dumplings, sweet potato crunch and hibachi. My wife likes the Angry Bird sushi. Lin’s down the road has good dumplings, but Tokyo Cafe restaurant has better food overall. It’s also a friendlier atmosphere than their grumpy owner and servers.

So the calamari is STALE and CHEWY. The sushi roll I ordered was absolutely atrocious. 2/4 things I ordered were trash. Then for some reason it took an HOUR to get the food to the table. I don't recommend this place. Overpriced food and too long of a wait. Just not worth it for us.

This is our go-to sushi restaurant, after trying several others when we moved here several months ago. Great food, great service!

Always a pleasure! One note though. If you are going to server large portions of sushi/sashimi, thinner cuts make it easier to eat, vs thicker. Same amount, more pieces please.

Just left this restaurant after having date night with the hubby. I ordered steamed shrimp shumai, tuna sushi, rainbow roll, and Philadelphia roll. Hubby got chicken fried rice and filet mignon. The steak melted in our mouth, seasoned well, and juicy. The rice was also good and not everyone’s fried rice is good so we were happy about that. My sushi though…I don’t like my sushi to taste fishy. This sushi tasted very fishy. I believe that higher quality fish taste fishy so this review isn’t a negative about the quality. So if you’re like me and don’t like fishy fish then you won’t like the sushi. The Philadelphia roll was full of avocado, it was gushing out of the sushi in my mouth and I didn’t like that at all. The side facing up didn’t reveal that much avocado but when I flipped it over to check I saw the extra avocado. The rainbow roll tasted like nothing and fish. The tuna was fishy. The shumai was fantastic. The waiter might have been one of the owner’s teenagers. He took a long time to refill my husbands water. I told him I didn’t like the tuna and rainbow roll and he just said, “oh ok”. I only ate one piece from each of the things I didn’t like. They didn’t take it off of the bill or offer to substitute something else. We just asked for a box. Maybe my friend will like it so will give it to her when we get home. The highlight of our dinner was the filet mignon. Not good enough for us to return to this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: The owner’s/worker’s kids were everywhere. Doesn’t seem like they mind children.

I ordered food for take out. I say it was expensive. But I was very pleased with the food so won’t take any stars away for being expensive. Fast service. Looks like a place you can take someone on a date to.
