Picked up lunch for two. Paid 24 bucks for a few chunks of cold dried out chicken on a bed of stale cold rice with maybe a tablespoon of cucumbers slapped on. Oh and it came with a slice of stale pita bread hard enough to chip a tooth. Tasted as nasty as it looked, and now a few hours later I feel so sick. 🤢 never again.

We have ordered family meals for years from here. Today we ordered a family meal for 4 and a family meal for 8 for a gathering. We picked up the food and drove to our gathering. We were given one large tray if rice, 3 very small sides of chicken that were not even filled enough to cover the bottom, 5 plantains, two small sides of vegetables, and a small container of beans. The chicken and vegtables were clearly old and when all was said and done we had enough food to feed maybe 8 people. They have cut portions WAY down, food quality is completely gone and they raised prices! When I called to say I thought they gave me the wrong order, or maybe forgot a bag of food the employee was very rude and said they provided exactly what I ordered. Very disappointed as this used to one of our favorites.

Portions are maybe half of what they used to be, and prices are much higher. Not what it used to be, today will be my last time here.

The empanadas were extremely burnt. The kids were disappointed when they got home. The staff seemed annoyed when we walked in at 8:15 pm, 45 min before closing. Staff got distracted when a friend walked in which caused our empanadas to be burnt. The salmon bowl was missing all the seasonal vegetables. They were too busy closing and didnt care about the service.

We have eaten tropical grill for years and usually get the family meal for 4 which they have gone up on the price and I understand but I got it today and there's maybe enough food for TWO people there's no way that's enough for FOUR people!! I will not be returning here again they used to give way more food to actually feed 4 people or maybe it's just this store like everyone else says it's the worst

Like other locations, the portion sizes are now small and not worth the money anymore.

Large is now a small bowl

After a long flight I wanted something quick but wholesome and usually this establishment is a go to but my rice and chicken was overcooked and dry and the sauce provided was not full..I’m very sad and disappointed

I went in on Friday to order lunch for my husband, son, and myself. After looking at the menu for a few minutes, I placed my order and went to pay. I had a $100 bill, which they said they couldn't accept. There was a sign laying flat on the counter in front of the register. However, I had already walked in the door (no sign), placed the order (no sign), and got to the register where there was a sign. I know many people don't accept large bills. However, that should be made clear before ordering. Anyway, I didn't have anything else to pay with, so I politely apologized for the inconvenience to them and said I couldn't get the food they had already fixed and started to leave. The girl called me back and said she could take it after all. I understood, since the food would be wasted otherwise.

My problem comes at this point. The girl inspected the bill repeatedly, looking at it, holding it up, scratching it several times, and looking at it some more. At this point, with other people in line, I'm feeling absolutely humiliated, like she's telling everyone I'm giving her a counterfeit bill. I said, just give me the bill back and I'll leave. She looked at it some more and said, no it's okay. She sighed and huffed throughout this whole thing.

My thing is, get a pen that you can quickly swipe over the bill without making an honest customer feel humiliated. I will never go back to this place and will pass on my experience to others. A note on the door would have prevented the whole situation. At least be kind when a customer doesn't know the policy. No need to humiliate someone. It was my first and last time at this place.

The food was extremely bland, and the portions were tiny in comparison how they've been in the past. Overpriced for what you get.
