We were fleeing WNC after Helene hit. We had managed to salvage a trip to CA that we had planned months ago. We had to hike to a ridge top, high above our neighborhood, to get cell service and call Delta to re-route us through GSP. I had just enough gasoline in the car to make it to GSP.
