“If you're looking for your typical, affordable, fast Chinese takeout, this is the place. I ordered sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, and hot and sour soup. I don't normally like sesame chicken but my partner wanted it and it was 10/10. Was fried well and the sauce was very savory. Lo mein was average and the hot and sour soup was really spicy and good! It only took them 15 minutes to cook everything on a Saturday night. Will be back“

“Best crab Rangoon in town! Very picky about my Rangoon and these are so yummy! The wanton isn't greasy, plenty of Krab meat, big cup of sweet and sour in the To-go order. Good price and good portion. Lo mean was spot on also and a big portion. Will be back.“

My daughter had turned 15th today and had to put together last minute plans because I worked today and they really helped with the celebration. Desserts were utterly tasteful and Sophia was an amazing server, even had everyone in the restaurant sign a birthday card for Ameriana’s bday, I can’t thank you enough for your hospitality. “We have visited South Carolina from Washington twice this year, and during both trips, we chose Masa for one meal per visit. The customer service was always excellent, particularly from our waiter, a young man who provided phenomenal service on both visits. Additionally, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the restaurant was immaculate. We were especially impressed by the cleanliness of the restroom, as we firmly believe it reflects the overall hygiene of the kitchen. We will always make it a point to dine at Masa at least once every time we are in the area.“

While I love the food, I have to mention that prices have gone up quite a bit, likely due to inflation and rising costs. Unfortunately, the portion sizes seem to have decreased, which makes the higher prices feel more noticeable.

The only other downside is the traffic getting in and out of the location—it can be a bit of a headache, especially during peak hours. But honestly, the food and service make it worth the wait.

Definitely recommend if you’re looking for quality Japanese takeout with a local touch.“

“The food was decent but order was wrong. I ordered 3 sushi rolls, a seaweed salad & chicken fried rice for carry out. Instead of a seaweed salad I got a bowl with iceberg lettuce topped with avocado (house salad maybe?). Instead of the chicken fried rice I received a teriyaki chicken bowl. It all tasted good except I was disappointed in the Angry Dragon Roll I received - it has mango in it but the mango in the roll was so under ripe you couldn’t even tell what it was & it was very hard. I ordered this on a Wednesday night and it was dead inside when I picked it up. If I give them another chance I’ll definitely be checking the order before walking out with it.“

But I've been getting the same thing everything I go for years!! Large chicken bowl, enough said. “Bought a few different things for football Sunday. I specifically told the young lady that I had a shell fish allergy. When I got home I realized that they put shell fish in with the salmon. Disappointed that I wasn’t even able to eat what I ordered since it was out in the same box as shrimp. Not to mention, could have killed me.“
