“Super friendly and fast service. The sweet and sour chicken, chicken lo mein, and crab rangoons were so so good, probably my favorite in the Charleston area! Very flavorful, huge portions, and fresh. The crab rangoons had a slightly different flavor and filling than I’m used to but I didn’t mind it at all. I didn’t care for the egg roll but would try it again to see if it was just a bad batch.“

“Stopped in for a few drinks and some sushi on a Friday night, which is almost impossible to do at the other Sushi place on King st. Coco and Johnny took great care of us all all night! The food was great (exceeded expectations) and the staff were friendly and always attentive. We will be back!“

“I went with a group of friends a little while ago and we really enjoyed the food. I got the pork tonkatsu and it was really good. The pickled radish here is awesome. I really need to know the secret there. We also had their pork buns and the takoyaki. The only downside for us was the service. Our waitress really didn't seem like she wanted to be there. And at first we felt rushed and then later on it was hard to find her. But I would definitely come back again.
Parking: It's in a strip mall; there is plenty of parking.“

“Very good food and good service BUT the atmosphere needs some loving. I would love to see them grow into a new fresh location in the Summerville square area or at the very least on Uber eats since it's a bit of a drive, but worth the drive.“

“This place has been here since the early 2000's, it used to be called seasons of Japan and I imagine changed names, rebranded, or ownership. But I've been getting the same thing everything I go for years!! Large chicken bowl, enough said. Thanks for staying open and surviving as for some reason there's loads of Asian places that popped up next to them...I don't understand it but you have options!“

“The food was decent but order was wrong. I ordered 3 sushi rolls, a seaweed salad & chicken fried rice for carry out. Instead of a seaweed salad I got a bowl with iceberg lettuce topped with avocado (house salad maybe?). Instead of the chicken fried rice I received a teriyaki chicken bowl. It all tasted good except I was disappointed in the Angry Dragon Roll I received - it has mango in it but the mango in the roll was so under ripe you couldn’t even tell what it was & it was very hard. I ordered this on a Wednesday night and it was dead inside when I picked it up. If I give them another chance I’ll definitely be checking the order before walking out with it.“

“Love the sushi here. It’s always so empty, I’d love to see it busier so it stays in business. The sushi is actually so good and it’s always consistent. I’ve been here probably 7 times now and every time it’s amazing. Try the last sushi roll!“

“The customer service is delightful. The sesame chicken sample was very good and moved me and my girlfriend to get sesame chicken, lo mein, and California rolls. The sesame chicken was delicious, the lo mein was a good consistency and flavorful, my girlfriend said the California rolls were tasty, though the avocado was a little mushy, and it only took about 4 minutes to get all the food. Overall, very good and will definitely be the go to place when hungry in the mall.5/5“

“We ordered the hibachi steak/chicken and steak/shrimp. Both meals were delicious, cooked perfectly, and very generous portions. We have eaten at this grill several times over the years and we have enjoyed every experience. Definitely recommended and appreciated in the community!“

“Lunch is $16.99 and dinner is $26.99.
Update 08/23 I took my wife here today and we were not disappointed. They were busy but our food came out fast. I did order all my food at once since I was on lunch. I had chicken katsu, pot stickers, hibachi chicken, and an orchard roll. The food was hot. All of it came out together within minutes.
Two of the rolls we ordered are half the size they used to be, orchard and sea angel. They were tiny, however, you can order as much as you want.
Old review:
This place is amazing. I went during lunch a few times; I went during dinner twice and was satisfied every single time. No matter lunch or dinner the food is always hot and fresh. The sushi is also made fresh when ordering. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.
You have a paper and pencil on your table which you use to check which food you want which is listed. Then your food is made and brought to your table. I personally like to put a second order in after receiving my food because it takes about 10 minutes for the food to arrive.
I can go on lunch and drink a water for less than $20. However, I leave a $20 bill to include a $3+ tip for the service. Even if you don't eat sushi you can eat hibachi.
The pics feature random sushi rolls, hibachi steak and shrimp, Orchard roll, pork gyoza dumplings, and hibachi chicken (no onions).
Side note: Ice cream and cheesecake are available but not on the list to check, you have to tell the server you want dessert.“

“The sushi is delicious and a great price. Not necessarily gourmet sushi but it hits the spot. My favorite rolls are the Salmon Avocado, Doge to the Moon, Shrimp Tempura and California. have had the hibachi chicken once which I would not recommend. The crab rangoons are good.“

“Excellent customer service. Excellent tasting food. I've been coming here for years. Definitely not for the "mall" shopping. I ONLY love this place and its the ONLY one here on our coast! I've seen the chef working there for years, YEARS, now. He's such a sweet soul. THESE PEOPLE DESERVE FIVE STARS. SO what if the portions are a little smaller than 8 years ago. It is still FANTASTIC AND ALWAYS ON MY MIND. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVEEEEEEEEEEE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vegetarian options: You can substitute. Don't be a Karen.
Dietary restrictions: Don't ask for extra sauce, bro.
Parking: Don't get hung up on the parking. If you can walk, you need to walk after eating this delicious food establishment. The only one on our coast. Do not regret it, ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kid-friendliness: They are ALWAYS kind and ALWAYS generous and they are ALWAYS going to be around if you contribute to eating their DELECTABLE food.
Wheelchair accessibility: You can always get here!!!!“

“I went in to fuji sushi with my friends the other night. I got a november roll and a california roll. My friend got some steak hibachi. The food was amazing as well as the drinks. I also love the music they had playing throughout the restaurant. Would highly recommend going if you are looking for sushi in the area.“

“I love hibachi and I’ve tried just about every single one in Charleston since moving here. This is by far the best one I’ve had. (Ordered through DoorDash) I got the steak with rice and it was so, so good. Both the steak and rice had such a great flavor. My favorite hibachi place now!“

“Food was alright, I’ve had much better hibachi, but the service was excellent. The business definitely needs a refresh. My shoes stuck to the floor.
Kid-friendliness: The staff were very accommodating and friendly. But $24 for veggies and rice is so overpriced.“

“If you're looking for your typical, affordable, fast Chinese takeout, this is the place. I ordered sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, and hot and sour soup. I don't normally like sesame chicken but my partner wanted it and it was 10/10. Was fried well and the sauce was very savory. Lo mein was average and the hot and sour soup was really spicy and good! It only took them 15 minutes to cook everything on a Saturday night. Will be back“
