I had the French toast sandwich, and it was the perfect combination of sweet and savory with egg, cheese, and bacon on French toast, with syrup for dipping. “I felt it was time to leave a review after coming here for almost 2 years now. Not sure why it has a 4.1, should be higher! This place never disappoints and is way better than any other take-out Chinese in the whole Charleston area period. For being one of the few options in Ridgeville, their food is always fresh and tasty. I recommend the Singapore rice noodles (mention Spicy), the fried and steamed dumplings app, and the egg rolls. Oh and the garlic sauce broccoli was awesome too today. Thanks China Town for my consistent & delicious splurge meals! A+++”

“So firstly, I just wanna say that ever since me and my now husband has been living in Harleyville we have always loved going to Armando’s. We would go in every Wednesday for wing night and then of course any other day for their delicious menu. With that we had Armondos cater our wedding which was on Friday, April 11th. And it’s safe to say that we made an excellent choice. Alberto was absolutely amazing with delivery and food set up and of course the food was absolutely delicious. We’ve even had people fly in from Texas that is used to TexMex that came for the wedding say that their food was amazing as well as people that usually don’t usually like fajitas, say that they were amazing! Alberto and his wife and his whole crew have honestly made the catering part of our wedding the easiest because they were so attentive, nice and they actually cared about us and making sure that we got what we wanted. So I highly recommend Armondos in St. George for catering or even lunch or dinner. Sidenote, their drinks are also phenomenal!”

“On August 23, 2025, a large commercial fire occurred outside Holly Hill, SC. Fire departments from multiple counties responded and were on scene all day. When it became apparent that the response would continue through the night, the American Red Cross was contacted to provide water, snacks, and dinner for approximately 40-50 firefighters. I contacted the Holly Hill Subway store 17288 at approximately 7:30pm to inquire whether they could possibly make sandwiches for 60 people right away. There was only one employee at the time, a young gentleman named Dhruv. He said he could make that happen. When I arrived at the store a few minutes later, he had already laid out the bread and made a plan. He assembled 30 footlong sandwiches in about an hour, with no advance notice. When other customers came into the store, he efficiently worked their orders in to his system. He was organized, detail oriented, and friendly. I want to thank Dhruv for helping us out so much last night. The firefighters were grateful to have fresh sandwiches and the Red Cross is always appreciative of our local partners that make it possible for us to serve in our community.”

“I have eaten here twice now and can say their egg rolls are the best I have had in 15-20 years!!! I usually throw away the egg rolls when I eat chinese. Most people dont cook the vegetables inside or something, this place does and they are crispy. Sooo delicious. I got the General Tso chicken and it was really good. The chicken is a bit large, I really think they should make them half the size they are. Also, light on the sauce. I got the crab cheese wantons as well. They are so good. You can actually taste the crab, yumm! Also they put chives in there, a delicious surprise. Thank you for a delicious dinner.”
