As always food was amazing! This is 4th time I have had something from Hwy 27 Cafe. This time it was the Jerk Chicken Quasadilla. The chef/owner is always a pleasure to speak to and made this meal just as satisfying as the first! My next food item from this Chef Frisco at Hwy 27 Cafe in Ridgeville SC is going to be his infamous chicken wings!
I checked this place out because the owner does catering for corporate lunches that I do at various locations in the Charleston area. He mentioned that he had opened this place so I decided to check it out (his food for the catered lunches I do is excellent).Boy I'm glad I discovered this place! The jerk burger I had with the side of vegetables and rice was phenomenal. Stopped on way home from Charleston. Jerk chicken was wonderful, great flavor and right amount of heat for me. My husband had the catfish and shrimp. His comment on the shrimp "best shrimp since been in SC". My husband is a cook and owed his own restaurant, a little picky about his food, will definitely be stopping again. Very convient off I26.
