Kahulua pulled pork was wonderful! The sweet potato fries would be worth the stop by itself!!! Enjoyed the potato salad and the slaw. Portions were generous.
This place was amazing myself and my husband stopped for a bite to eat and its by far some of the best BBQ I have ever had in a restaurant. Definitely worth trying and making it a new favorite lunch or dinner spot.

Hwy 27 BBQ Smokehouse is a fantastic, family and veteran owned BBQ joint easily accessible off of highway 27. The food is amazing, with a 10/10 rating from customers. The brisket sandwich, smoked ribs, pulled pork, and Texas brisket sandwich are all top notch southern style BBQ. The biggest ribs are falling off the bone tender, and the brisket is tender. Sides like mac n cheese, plantains, slaw, sweet potato fries, goat cheese Mac and cheese, and smoked turkey collards are all amazing. The couples platter features a bit of everything and is enough to feed 3 adults. There are surprising offerings including vegetarian food, so there is something for everyone. The atmosphere gives good vibes. The staff are nice, friendly, and amazing, with one multi language lady who is fantastic. Customers love that the staff interacts and makes sure everything is good. This is a memorable spot that is worth a quick detour.
