Grilled chicken was horribly dry and over cooked asked burgers to be cooked at certain temp were burnt 10 fries with one burger maybe handful with other Ceasar salad came with more croutons than with lettuce. Second chance and still disappointed. Being in the food industry myself I just wouldn't recommend to anyone. Don't guess I will be going back here.... so sad one of the few left around my area and drove 45 mins just to have it..

We always try to visit this location when we're in town. In the many years we've been coming here, we've never had an order wrong. The food is amazing My daughter goes to school in Hartsville and the food is always perfect from their quesadillas salad to my Bourbon chicken and shrimp. The manager is always checking on how things are going. We eat here every time we're in town

Just came from this place. 1 star. Last time we were here we ordered the food for curbside. The food was delicious but someone had given themselves a $10 tip! We had to call the manager and tell him. He did refund us the money. That happened around 4 months ago. Today we decided to try and eat inside. We waited 5 minutes before being seated. Once we got seated it took 10 minutes for our drink and 35 minutes for our appetizer to come out. When it came out it came with our food. We didn’t ask to get it at the same time. We also didn’t get any silverware until our food and appetizer came. My husband’s chicken sandwich was dripping with grease when he picked it up. I mean it looked as if someone had put water on it. I had a burger and it had no flavor. Just burnt hamburger meat. The manager and our server were very nice so that made up for it. Just wouldn’t eat here again.

I have lived in Hartsville for almost 5 years and this is my second time coming here. It was a mistake to try again. Slow service, drink never came, empty tea glass, horrible experience. I would come in on the food but I've been sitting here for 20 minutes waiting on my food so I can't really tell you how the food is.... NEVER AGAIN HARTSVILLE APPLEBEE'S.....

The 1 star is because you can't put 0.... took 20 minutes for someone to come to my table and food is just OK nothing special... only went there because I was staying at the hotel behind it and it was walking distance

I wanted to go to AppleBees since I have not been there in years. I convinced my boyfriend to go and we got the 2 for $25 deal. To start off, it took about 20 minutes for us just to get our drinks, which was two sweet teas. We waited an hour and a half without anyone asking if we were okay, or even our appetizer. Right at the hour and a half mark, we received our appetizer, then our entrees about 2 minutes later. The appetizer was disgusting (spinach and artichoke dip) and we both received the chicken tender plates. The chicken tenders looked burnt, but were cold along with the fries. At this point, I just grabbed the waitress and was only charged for our sweet teas. The only reason I gave 1 star is because the servers were actually nice.

Black customers wouldn't allow me to use restroom, so I walked out and they followed me outside with my grandson with a black waitress and ragged at us as we headed to my car. Waitress did NOTHING to keep them Civil but instead stood with them. This is a horrible deamenor to have to be subjected to while at a restaurant. The ratio of blacks to only 2 whites working in the restaurant is a VERY unfair 👇

FOH - in serious need of leadership , Hostess seemed disinterested in guests and she was training 2 new hires . The hostess / trainer / waitress was total disengaged with her trainees . Applebees has been know for great food and great customer service since its inception . This location needs a complete revamp on service culture , back to basics guest interactions for repeat business. This location could be high volume if customers actually want to return after receiving poor guest service.

Lemon drop delicious! Server asked if we were ready to pay laugh out loud we did not even have our food yet. Took over a hour for three won ton tacos. Bartender brought our food out. He was good. No manager even came out to check on us.
