went here for lunch, been here a few times always a good experience , today lunch was horrible, ordered the pick 3 ,/2/whiting , 1/shrimp. to stay. gave me food in a Styrofoam container even I said nicely I'm staying to eat, gave me disgusting tasting flounder instead of whiting , I brought it to mgr, told me that is whiting. the whiting does not have skin they fave me the flounder with skin, lied to my face , I ate the shrimp and side , fed the gross fish to the birds. won't be returning here again. to add, I even put a tip in the cup and still received this insulting treatment. god sees all you will be punished in due time.

That was mine and my husband's first time visiting that restaurant and everything was great. Customer service was perfect and the food was perfect for us. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family and you.

Fried chicken spot on, dope Mac and cheese. Green beans usually not one of my things but I love marylands. The sweet tea they sell in the jug is it.

Great food and staff

Ordered thru door dash. Received only half of our order. Food looks and tastes great but dasher was very rude to my wife. First time customer to both the restaurant and dash door. Never again. To both.

A Disheartening Experience in My Own Community

As someone who has spent their entire life in this community, I am deeply disappointed by my experience at The Shrimper. Despite being a local, I have never been made to feel so unwelcome in a space that is supposed to represent the vibrancy and hospitality of our town.

From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff's training and management were lacking. There was an unspoken but palpable sense that, because I didn't fit whatever profile they deemed acceptable, my presence was neither appreciated nor respected.

The service was dismissive at best and outright rude at worst. My attempts to engage with the staff were met with cold indifference, and it became increasingly clear that my experience was not a priority to them. The lack of professionalism and hospitality made for an uncomfortable and disheartening visit.

A restaurant should be a welcoming space for everyone, especially for those who call this community home. Unfortunately, this establishment seems to operate under a set of unspoken rules about who "belongs" and who does not, which is not only unfair but also a disservice to our diverse and inclusive community.

I had hoped for a pleasant meal but instead left with a bad taste in my mouth—figuratively and literally. Until the management takes steps to address these glaring issues, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who values respect, inclusion, and genuine hospitality.
