Despite its appearance, it is consistently packed and very popular, with the phone ringing steadily. The service is quick, efficient, and very kind, with patient people who provide recommendations. Orders are always correct, including special requests.
The food is some of the best Chinese food available, with everything made to order and always hot, fresh, and hot on pickup. The lunch specials are an excellent deal, and the combination plates offer huge portions, often providing two meals. Specific praised items include the egg rolls, which are top tier and the best ever made, the steamed dumplings, the orange chicken, the egg drop soup, and the hot and sour soup. The shrimp are HUGE in dishes like the hunan shrimp, and the pepper steak is also enjoyed. While the sesame chicken can be a little bland, the rice—including pork fried rice and vegetable fried rice—is some of the best ever had.
