Fried squash, fried okra, squash casserole, fried chicken, cheeseburger, seafood, steak sandwich, chicken tenders, salads, dinners, etc,etc,etc...it's all yummy!

2 flounder and shrimp dinner cost over $58 … Gray hairs were on my shrimp when I went to pick one up, food was soggy looking, they didn’t give us home fries like we ordered (because I don’t eat crinkle cut fries), no slaw on my husbands plate, hush puppies were soggy… called Buddy and he won’t remake it or give us our money back!!!! The restaurant offers the best home cooking, with a varied menu including fried chicken, fried squash, green beans, yams, seafood dishes, cheeseburgers, steak sandwiches, chicken tenders, salads, and dinners. Breakfast is very good, and the lunch special menu provides a variety of choices with one meat and three sides. The food and service are excellent, with the owner making fresh pies and cakes daily; the coconut pie was the best. The fried chicken is some of the best anywhere, and the Rice Pilaf is still served and SOOOO Good. However, some vegetables like white lima beans can be too salty, and lunches are expensive for a family restaurant at $12.95 for meat and three vegetables. Wait staff is always very friendly.
