Alfred's Restaurant

We are outside which was lovely. The patio is ready for all kinds of weather and since it was a bit chilly, the heaters were on. There were drapes to stop the wind also, but not necessary when we were there. The menu was interesting and a bit unusual. We went because we wanted to celebrate Octoberfest. We were delighted to learn that wiener schnitzel was always on the menu which means we will be back at non-Octoberfest times. The food was delicious! And the wine pour was large. The waiter was very accommodating to us. Eating outside was quiet and lovely. A super restaurant experience.

 Alfred is always a win! The food is phenomenal. Servers are always great. Can't go wrong.

It was our first time there and we were very impressed. The restaurant inside is on the small size but very quaint. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food was fantastic. It all came out hot, and we totally enjoyed it. We will go back.

This restaurant has truly delicious 😋 German cuisine. My husband and I enjoyed the casual ambiance and atmosphere. Our awesome waitress, Linda (she is also the owner) presented us with the best specials and of course I chose the best, shweinhaxen and Bill had their jagerdhnitzel! Let’s talk about bringing back some great memories of our time in Wuerzburg! 💙 We highly recommend this restaurant for the greatest German cuisine.

The sauce on the veal scallopini was not edible. Way too much salt. It was supposed to be a light cream sauce and was a heavy gravy. This is always been one of my favorite restaurants on the island but not recently.

Food and service were clearly top quality. Our friends were convinced that they should return the next time they are in Hilton Head.

Every aspect of our experience was exceptional. I've traveled extensively and the food and service Alfred's was as good as it gets anywhere. You will not regret choosing them for any occasion.

We had a group of 7 of us! Everyone loved their choice of dinner and had plenty of choices and Oktoberfest menu to die for!! Make sure you leave room for Apple Strudel and German Chocolate Cake!!!!

This is a favorite stop for us when we are in town. The food and service always excellent. Until next time.

Excellent as always! Trent was a great server. Missed seeing Katherine and Jorge. Our go to place every April and September when in Hilton Head.

We've eaten here 3-4 times each year on our HHI visits. The food is very good. Used to be a friendly place for all but seems to cater more to friends and locals now. This past May we came to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary dinner and said so on the reservation. Nothing was done, nothing mentioned or recognized. We were disappointed. Yet Sat pm we noticed several tables were recognized for their celebrations. Disappointed as ours was also a special milestone back in May but not recognized.

We love this place. The food is always prepared with much care and thought and expertise. The wine pours are generous. No wonder they get many 5 stars. Thank you to all that work there!
