I had the most incredible softshell crab there today! My friend and I ordered them both sautéed and fried, and we shared one of each. Definitely coming back!
The food was horrible

Don’t miss this gem! Nashville hot chicken, greens, Mac and cheese were all out of the world good. Small mom and pop place that deserves more diners! Thank you!

We stopped in during restaurant week-ordered from their restaurant week sampling menu. We ordered the deviled eggs and prime rib chili as appetizers, then had the braised short rib and the chicken and biscuit offerings -everything was delicious!
Our server(Katelynn) was the hostess, waitress, and busser,, and she did it all with a smile. A highly recommend!

While away on a work retreat we visited Annie O's Kitchen. Hilton Head in the winter is very quiet but thankfully Annie O's Kitchen was open. After a long day of productive work Annie O's hit the spot. While waiting on our order I asked for some water and I received a cute little mason jar or water. The food was on point and we would definitely visit again.

My sister & I had dark meat fried chicken. It had a nice crispy coat, but didn’t have any flavor.

Not a friendly staff. We were the only ones there. I read the reviews before going. I was looking for a southern Gullah style cuisine. The woman took our order the counter when we walked in and my friend payed for it and she asked "'do you want to leave a tip?", I said "we haven't been served yet ". My friend had the Shrimp and grits and told the chef they were good, he just looked at him and smiled. I had the barbecue chicken salad,; it was okay and the Fried green tomatoes topped with blackened shrimp. The shrimp was excellent, the fried green tomatoes were cut thick , not seasoned, did not enjoy.

Very pleasant. The food was very good. Drove up the outside was misleading what inside was like. Will definitely go back.

We were in town to celebrate my son finishing USMC Boot camp and decided to try the local cuisine. So me and my family (Party of 5) decided to give Annie O's a try.
Let me say that our server was very friendly. I truly have no qualms with her. However, the macaroni and cheese that was delivered to me was flavorless and very bland. This is a "premium" side so there was an upcharge. When I took one taste I immediately informed her that I was dissatisfied, and would prefer to just replace it with a second order of the collard greens that were a regular side, even though the vinegar taste was overwhelming. I was informed that I would still be charged for the Mac and cheese and questioned why, since it was literally going right back. Keep in mind, this was not special order Mac & cheese, they informed us that it had been made that morning (it was now dinner time).
I requested the manager, and the cook came out. He stated he was the manager/owner. I advised him of my issue with the rate of the dish and he looked around at everyone at my table and said, "well everyone else is eating it." They in fact were not. I was the first to taste it and requested to send it back right away. He went on to say it didn't matter that I didn't like the taste, as this was not a "taste restaurant"
It was at this point my entire table decided to leave, of course we paid the bill and boxed up our food since we paid for it. It was immediately deposited into the nearest trash receptacle and me and my family went to McDonald's.
Highly advised against visiting this establishment!!

I literally just left this establishment and my experience was nothing like the comments I've read prior. It was horrible! My husband had the southern fried chicken w/ "homemade mac and cheese" and "homemade baked beans." My son had chicken and waffles which was a flat piece of chicken breast and boxed French toast. Nothing had seasoning and the chicken was fried hard, it was dry, and the grease the chicken was fried in was old ( I do alot of cooking so I know better). Our bill was over $80 for 3 plates of sorry food. My husband asked to speak to the owner because the food was not worth it. He was offended asked what did we want him to do and walked off. The worst customer service ever. The best thing about the place was the waitress was friendly..
Annie O’s may provide a decent scenery but it is simply not a great choice to dine. First off the lights were entirely too dim for anyone to read the menu. Secondly the prices for so called homemade food is absurd. The food came out and looked like canned beans, kraft Mac n cheese, and Tyson chicken strips. The chicken had no flavor and tasted like the oil hasn’t been changed for months (to fry the chicken in), the French toast bread was extremely soggy. The biscuit cold and hard. The only thing that makes this place a 4.5 is its sweet tea.
