We stopped by today and Trudy helped us. She was so friendly, made us feel very welcome. We got a pound of fresh shrimp. Definitely will go back and get more fresh seafood

We got fish here for three nights of our weeklong off-season stay. The quality of everything was excellent; prices were not cheap but didn't seem out of line. They're definitely on island time: each time we went there was one person staffing the stand who was sometimes there, sometimes not during opening hours. Overall would definitely recommend.

Got there late in the day so the selection was poor due to selling out, however she said she was getting more shrimp and grouper on about an hour. We came back and we happy we did, the fish was being processes as we spoke amd everything was fresh out of the ocean and delicious. Get there early and don't miss out!

Yearly visit to Hilton Head with the wife and kid. Decided to buy some fresh fish to cook instead of go out this year. Barnacle Bobs has the goods! Super nice guy. Got my favorite fish Red Snapper, caught in Beaufort. Doesn’t get much fresher than this. Simple lemon caper sauce. Highly recommend this place if you’re in town.

Literally a shack on the side of the road and easy to miss. Went there to get fresh seafood to grill. Maybe because it was the end of tourist season or there was not much of a catch, but there was not much available. We got swordfish & shrimp. The swordfish was very good. The shrimp were nice and fresh, but were basically medium in size. The nearby Piggly Wiggly has jumbo shrimp that are supposedly local and were the same price as Barnacle Bill's.

A MILLION stars! This is our first stay in HHI and this was the first place I saw near our place on the maps. The reviews are correct this place is a CANT MISS! We spent $70 on fresh seafood and fed 5 people 2 separate meals! The grouper was PERFECTION! The staff are very knowledgeable and very kind, which made a first timer like me feel comfortable asking all the questions! GO! Cook some fresh caught seafood! Better than any restaurant we ate at so far this trip!!!
