The restaurant was empty at 7pm that should have been a dead giveaway. The food was absolutely terrible - it gave you all inclusive vibes at a cheap buffet on a cruise ship. This review is for both breakfast and dinner. I would Only recommend eating at sugar cane while at the pool - stick either the quesadillas and chicken fingers only. Go out to eat for dinner. The breakfast sandwiches were also not good in the cafe.
Good service, The dinner was descent . Breakfast was very good Very convenient when saying at the resort
Carlton was our server last night, and I would just like to say that he is amazing! We are here visiting for my husband and I wedding anniversary. He built a rapport and continued to check in with us while our dinner was being cooked and was attentive to detail.
Food and service was excellent. All the servers were excellent and Howard was exceptional and very friendly! Don't want to miss eating here while staying at Sonesta!
Everything overall was great. The smoked sirloin option was tough and stringy, however everything else was wonderful. Service for a buffet should have been more attentive, however everyone was polite. Pricing was a bit steep.
Carlton took very good care of us. Each dish was very well executed. We had snapper, gumbo, and risotto for dinner.
Food was fantastic. Waiter was great. Prices were fantastic. Ambience not so good. Very bright and some people were in shorts and flip fops.
The only thing worse than the "seafood buffet" was the awful table of people next to us. They were blatantly bad-mouthing everyone around them. That's not the restaurant's fault, though. The best thing on the buffet was the salad bar. Mahi and salmon were so fishy they were inedible. She crab soup had chunks of flour in it. The desserts were left out on a table so flies kept landing on them. The cheesecake and key lime pie were warm and probably not safe to eat. We've had good meals while staying here, I would recommend ordering off the menu.
(Translated by Google) Nice, not a lot of choice on the menu. But it is good.(Original)Sympa, pas beaucoup de choix sur la carte. Mais c'est Bon.

Great drinks - pretty atmosphere. Lovely to sit outside and listen to pool fountains while you enjoy your drinks. Didn’t get the food but looked good and reasonably priced for hotel food - especially the gluten free pizza.

We are staying at the resort and had dinner here. We were one of 3 tables on a Friday night. Service was great and the food was very good! I had the snapper and it was delicious. My husband had the seafood pasta and my dad had the filet, which he raved about. Highly recommend!
The staff were all very friendly and accommodating! The food was absolutely delicious and a great meal to start our trip with. Definitely on the pricer side, but definitely not for nothing. We will definitely be back.
Our server, Carlton, was excellent!!! We were disappointed that while we made a reservation for the outdoor terrace, we were seated inside due to a private event. Restaurant should have had the courtesy to inform us. Otherwise, this is a beautiful venue.
Wonderful breakfast buffet in a beautiful location. Value listed as "fair" as it is a resort breakfast buffet and comes at a premium price. Regardless, we are local and go there multiple times per year for the food and ambiance.
I did not know that the restaurant was part of a resort. Even though that this was not a typical Thanksgiving getaway. It was nice that they served a home cooked Thanksgiving dinner. It satisfied the craving for a Thanksgiving dinner without me making it. I am usually the host and I needed a break. Thank You. I left overly full.
